Description
本実施形態にかかる電源システムが搭載される車両は、内燃機関を走行作動源とした車両であり、所定の自動停止条件を満たした場合に内燃機関を自動停止させ、所定の自動再始動条件を満たした場合に内燃機関を自動再始動させる、アイドリングストップ機能を有する。また、回生エネルギにより発電して充電する回生充電機能を有する。
本実施形態では、目標SOCの変更を許可する条件が第1実施形態と異なっている。具体的には、第2蓄電池22のSOCが変更後の目標SOCよりも高い場合に、目標SOCの変更を許可する。したがって、回生発電によりSOCが目標SOCよりも高くなっている場合や、目標SOCを一旦低下させた後、再び目標SOCを上昇させる場合等に、目標SOCの変更許可の条件を満たすこととなる。
本実施形態では、目標SOCの変更を許可する条件が、第1、第2実施形態と異なっている。具体的には、内燃機関の作動停止中に目標SOCの変更を許可する。したがって、内燃機関の動作中に負荷電流が大きくなった場合には、目標SOCは維持され、アイドリングストップ機能により内燃機関が停止した場合に目標SOCが変更され、内燃機関の再始動後に、SOCを変更後の目標SOCとすべく発電が行われる。
第1〜3実施形態では、目標SOCを変更したとしても、その変更に伴ってオルタネータ40での発電が行われない場合に、目標SOCの変更を許可した。この点、本実施形態では、目標SOCの変更に伴いオルタネータ40で発電が行われたとしても、運転者がその発電の開始に気付きづらい場合に、目標SOCの変更を許可する。具体的には、車速に対して閾値を設け、車速がその閾値よりも高い場合に、目標SOCの変更を許可する。
第1〜第3実施形態では、目標SOCを変更したとしてもオルタネータ40による発電が開始されない場合に、目標SOCの変更を許可するものとした。また、第4実施形態では、オルタネータ40による発電が開始されたとしても、その発電の開始に運転者が気付きづらい場合に、目標SOCの変更を許可するものとした。
本実施形態では、目標SOCを求めるうえで、電流検出部71が検出した負荷電流に対する加減算の演算方法について変更している。
・第1実施形態において、目標SOCを低下させる場合についても、目標SOCの変更許可がなされているか否かを判定するものとした。この点、目標SOCを上昇させる場合は変更許可がなされているか否かを判定し、目標SOCを低下させる場合には、変更許可の有無に関わらず変更するものとしてもよい。目標SOCを小さく変更した場合にSOCが目標SOCよりも小さくなるのは、変更前の目標SOCがSOCよりも大きく既にオルタネータ40により発電が行われている場合、及び、内燃機関の停止中でありオルタネータ40による発電を行わない場合である。すなわち、目標SOCを小さく変更する場合には、その変更に伴いオルタネータ40による発電が開始されないため、ドライバビリティへの影響はないといえる。したがって、許可条件が成立しない場合であっても、目標SOCを小さくする変更を許可することにより、目標SOCを小さく変更する機会が増える。目標SOCを小さく変更する機会が増えればSOCが小さくなりやすくなり、回生発電の機会を増加させることができる。

- 車両に搭載された内燃機関の出力軸に接続され、前記内燃機関の出力軸の回転により発電を行う発電機(40)と、
前記発電機による発電電力を充電可能な第1蓄電池(21)と、
前記第1蓄電池に対して電気的に並列接続され、前記第1蓄電池よりも出力密度又はエネルギ密度が高い第2蓄電池(22)と、を備える電源システムを制御する制御装置(10)であって、
前記第2蓄電池の充電量が目標充電量となるように前記発電機を作動させる発電制御部と、
前記第2蓄電池の充電状態及び放電状態の少なくとも一方と相関のある状態量の変化に基づいて、前記目標充電量を可変に設定する設定部と、
前記状態量が変化する場合に、所定の許可条件が成立しなければ、前記発電機の作動を制限する制限部と、を備える、制御装置。 - 前記制限部は、前記許可条件が成立しない場合に前記設定部による前記目標充電量の変更を不許可とすることで、前記制限を行う、請求項1に記載の制御装置。
- 前記制限部は、前記設定部が前記目標充電量を小さくする側に変更する場合、前記許可条件に係わらず前記目標充電量の変更を許可する、請求項2に記載の制御装置。

- 前記許可条件は、前記車両に制動力が生じていることを示す条件を含む、請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の制御装置。
- 前記許可条件は、前記車両が停止していることを示す条件を含む、請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載の制御装置。
- 前記第1蓄電池および前記第2蓄電池の少なくとも一方には、電気負荷が電気的に接続されており、
前記許可条件は、前記車両の運転者による前記電気負荷の操作を示す条件を含む、請求項1〜11のいずれか1項に記載の制御装置。
