Abstract

Claims (15)
- 物体を製造するための方法であって、
(a)溶融領域を形成するために、粉末ベッド内の粉末の層に照射するステップと、
(b)粉末ベッドの第1の側から粉末ベッドの上にリコータアームを通過させることによって、粉末ベッドの上に粉末の次の層を提供するステップと、
(c)物体及び1以上の支持構造体が粉末ベッド内に形成されるまで、ステップ(a)及び(b)を繰り返すステップと
を含み、1以上の支持構造体が、プラットフォームから、物体の下向き凸面の下にある第1の部分の上向き凹面まで延在する第1の部分を含んでいて、上向き凹面が下向き凸面に対応し、物体が、第1の部分の最上部の上に構築され、物体の下向き凸面が、未溶融粉末の1以上の部分によって第1の部分の上向き凹面から分離されている、方法。 - 物体の下向き凸面を識別するステップと、
物体の下向き凸面に基づいて、支持構造体の上向き凹面を決定するステップと
をさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 物体の下向き凸面を決定するステップが、下向き凸面の極小を決定するステップを含む、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 支持構造体が、支持構造体の本体部分から上向き凹面の縁部まで延在する下向き凸面を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 単一層が、支持構造体の一部及び物体の一部を含み、支持構造体の一部が、単一層内の未溶融粉末のラインによって、物体の一部から分離されている、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 未溶融粉末の1以上の部分が、物体の下向き凸面にわたって維持される最小の高さを有する、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 上向き凹面の高さを記載する関数が、下向き凸面の高さを記載する関数から最小の高さを差し引いたものに等しい、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 1以上の支持構造体が、プラットフォームから第2の上向き凹面まで延在する第2の部分をさらに含み、第2の部分が、支持構造体の上向き凹面とは異なる次元において凹状である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 物体の下向き凸面が、物体の第1の円筒状部材の下向き縁部である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 物体が第2の円筒状部材を含み、1以上の支持構造体が、第2の円筒状部材の下向き縁部の下向き凸面に対応する第2の上向き凹面をさらに含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 1以上の支持構造体が、物体の第1の円筒状部材又は物体の第2の円筒状部材の一方に接触する接触面をさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 上向き凹面及び第2の上向き凹面が、支持構造体の同じ本体部分に結合されている、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 積層造形法を用いて物体を構築するための支持構造体であって、支持構造体が、
物体の第1の下向き凸面に対応する第1の上向き凹面であって、物体の第1の下向き凸面の下に位置する第1の上向き凹面と、
プラットフォームの上向き凹面から下方に延在する本体部分と
を含んでおり、物体の第1の下向き凸面が、未溶融粉末の1以上の部分によって、除去可能な支持構造体の第1の上向き凹面から分離されている、支持構造体。 - 第1の上向き凹面に対して垂直な次元において物体の第1の下向き凸面に対応する第2の上向き凹面をさらに含む、請求項13に記載の支持構造体。
- 物体の第2の下向き凸面に対応する第2の上向き凹面をさらに含み、本体部分が、第1の上向き凹面と第2の上向き凹面とを接続する、請求項13に記載の支持構造体。
