Claims (11)
- 物体を製造するための方法であって、
(a)溶融領域を形成するために、粉末ベッド内の粉末の層に照射するステップと、
(b)粉末ベッドの第1の側から粉末ベッドの上にリコータアームを通過させることによって、粉末ベッドの上に粉末の次の層を提供するステップと、
(c)第1の部分と第2の部分を備える単一の物体及び第1の部分と第2の部分の間に配置される支持体が粉末ベッド内に形成されるまで、ステップ(a)及び(b)を繰り返すステップと、
(d)前記第1の部分と前記第2の部分の間に配置される1以上の付加的な支持体が粉末ベッドに形成されるまで、ステップ(a)及び(b)を繰り返すステップと、
(e)第1の部分と第2の部分を備える物体から支持体を除去するステップと、
を含み、支持体が、物体に対する2つの融着接続部及び融着接続部の間の軸方向と、軸方向の周りの溶融材料の外周部と、溶融材料の外周部を完全に囲む未溶融粉末又は空気とを含み、
各付加的な支持体が、前記支持体とは異なる高さに配置され、物体に対する2つの付加的な融着接続部及び付加的な融着接続部の間の付加的な軸方向と、付加的な軸方向の周りの溶融材料の付加的な外周部と、溶融材料の付加的な外周部を完全に囲む未溶融粉末又は空気とを含む、方法。 - 物体に対する2つの融着接続部が第1の高さにあり、各付加的な融着接続部が第1の高さの倍数にある、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 溶融材料の外周部が、2つの融着接続部の間の支持体の長さより小さい、上面と底面との間の厚さを有する、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 物体に対する2つの融着接続部が第1の高さにあり、第1の高さが溶融材料の外周部の厚さよりも大きい、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 第1の高さが、軸方向で物体の最小寸法にわたって測定された物体の幅よりも大きい、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 第1の高さと物体の幅との比が少なくとも3.5である、請求項5に記載の方法。
- (f)物体と支持体とが接続されている間に、粉末ベッドから物体及び支持体を除去するステップをさらに含む、請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の方法。
- ステップ(c)が、第1の部分の頂部と第2の部分の頂部とに接続する第3の部分が粉末ベッド内に形成されるまで、ステップ(a)及び(b)を繰り返すステップを含む、請求項1乃至7のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 軸方向が、粉末ベッドの第1の側からのリコータアームの移動方向に平行である、請求項1乃至8のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 溶融材料の外周部が、融着接続部のうちの少なくとも1つに隣接するテーパ状端部を有する、請求項1乃至9のいずれかに記載の方法。
