Abstract
Description
Claims (4)
- 長尺な基板と;
前記基板上の長手方向に沿って設けられる導体と;
前記基板上の長手方向に複数に分割され、前記導体によって電気的に直列に接続され、前記基板の長手方向における抵抗温度係数が、端部領域に近づくほど小さくなる抵抗発熱体と;
を具備していることを特徴とするヒータ。 - 前記抵抗発熱体は、NTC特性を有し、前記基板の長手方向における端部領域の抵抗温度係数が、−2000〜−6000ppm/℃であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のヒータ。
- 前記基板の長手方向の端部領域における前記抵抗発熱体は、ルテニウム、イリジウム、ロジウムなどのうち少なくとも1種類を1〜30質量%含み、鉛、コバルト、マンガン、銅などのうち少なくとも1種が25〜90質量%添加されてなることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載のヒータ。
- 通過する記録媒体を加熱する請求項1から3のいずれか一に記載のヒータと;
前記記録媒体を加熱時に加圧するローラと;
を備え、前記記録媒体を加熱および加圧することで、前記記録媒体に付着したトナー像を定着させることを特徴とする定着装置。
