いたり、設計により又は他の方式でエンジンから排出されたNOxで相対的に高いNO2比(好ましくは少なくとも50体積%)を生産するライトデューティーディーゼルエンジンに適用されることが好ましい。コモンレールディーゼルの噴射は、現在ライトデューティーディーゼル車両のための選択システムであり、本発明において好ましいものである。当業者は、排気ガス循環比と大きさと燃料噴射のタイミングのような変化する多数のパラメータにより、本発明で好ましい結果を達成できるようにNO2を調節できる。他の可能性として、例えば、燃料改質ガソリン(reformate)ガスにおいて、水素噴射のようなことも挙げられる。

Claims (10)
- ディーゼルエンジン後処理システムであって、
排気マニホールドと、及び
いかなる触媒を介在することなく、前記排気マニホールドと直接連結されてなるフィルタ基材とを有するディーゼルエンジンを備えてなり、
前記フィルタ基材が、その入口側に、非コーキングモレキュラーシーブを包含するSCR触媒を備えてなるものである、ディーゼルエンジン後処理システム。 - 前記ディーゼルエンジンが、ライトデューティーディーゼルエンジンである、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記モレキュラーシーブが、小-細孔モレキュラーシーブである、請求項1又は2に記載のシステム。
- 前記モレキュラーシーブが、シリコアルミノホスフェート系モレキュラーシーブである、請求項1〜3の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記フィルタ基材が、エンジンに隣接連結されてなる、請求項1〜4の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
- 前記エンジンが、コモンレール燃料噴射を用いてなるものである、請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載のシステム。
