Abstract
【解決手段】アクチュエータ12の回動操作のクリック感を創出する押圧前突起部12hをアクチュエータ12の長手方向の一部の領域に設けることで、板状信号伝送媒体Fに対する押圧前突起部12hの押圧力をアクチュエータ12の長手方向の一部に付与することとし、多極配列方向にアクチュエータ12が長大化した場合であっても、板状信号伝送媒体Fに対する押圧前突起部12hの押圧力が大きく増大されることを防止することで、アクチュエータ12への操作力を低減する一方、媒体押圧部12hの押圧力を維持させることによって板状信号伝送媒体Fの最終的な固定状態を良好とする構成としたものである。

Description
すなわち、図1〜図6に示されている本発明の一実施形態にかかる電気コネクタ10は、絶縁ハウジング11の前端縁部分(図5及び図6の左端縁部分)に、接続操作手段としてのアクチュエータ12が取り付けられた、いわゆるフロントフリップ型構造を有する電気コネクタであって、上述したアクチュエータ(接続操作手段)12は、板状信号伝送媒体(FPC又はFFC等)Fの端末部分を挿入するコネクタ前端側(図5及び図6の左端側)に向かって押し倒されるように回動された状態になされている。
ここで、上述した各導電コンタクト部材13は、絶縁ハウジング11の部品装着口11bを形成している上下の壁部の内壁面に挟まれるようにして固定された後端基部13aを有している。その後端基部13aの下端部には、コネクタ後方側の外方側に向かって段差状をなすように延出する基板接続部13bが連設されている。その基板接続部13bは、印刷配線基板上の導電路(図示省略)に対して半田接合により接続され、その半田接合によって電気コネクタ1の実装が行われる。
ここで、前述したように回動軸(軸部)12aを中心として回動操作されるアクチュエータ(接続操作手段)12は、コネクタ長手方向に延在する板状部材からなる操作本体部12bを有している。この操作本体部12bを構成している板状部材は、コネクタ長手方向に略平行に延在する一対の端縁部を備えているが、そのうちの一方側の端縁部に沿うようにして、上述した回動軸12aが延在している。

Claims (4)
- 板状信号伝送媒体が挿入される絶縁ハウジングと、
前記絶縁ハウジングの内部に多極状に配列された複数体のコンタクト部材と、
前記絶縁ハウジングに、予め定められた回動中心の周りに回動可能に取り付けられ、待機位置から作用位置に向かって回動操作される構成になされたアクチュエータと、
を備え、
前記アクチュエータには、当該アクチュエータが前記待機位置から作用位置まで回動操作された状態において前記板状信号伝送媒体の表面に対して押圧接触される配置関係になされた媒体押圧部が設けられた電気コネクタにおいて、
前記アクチュエータには、前記媒体押圧部に対して前記回動操作方向の下流側の近傍部分に、前記回動中心からの距離が前記媒体押圧部よりも大きい位置まで突出して前記回動操作のクリック感を創出する押圧前突起部が設けられたものであって、
前記押圧前突起部は、前記コンタクト部材の多極配列方向である前記アクチュエータの長手方向の一部の領域に設けられていることを特徴とする電気コネクタ。 - 前記アクチュエータの長手方向における両側の領域に前記押圧前突起部が配置され、前記アクチュエータの長手方向の中央領域には前記押圧前突起部が設けられていないことを特徴とする請求項1記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記押圧前突起部が、前記アクチュエータの長手方向において予め定められた間隔をなして点在する構成になされていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電気コネクタ。
- 前記コンタクト部材が、前記板状信号伝送媒体に圧接する接点部を備えたものであって、
前記押圧前突起部には、前記コンタクト部材の接点部が前記板状信号伝送媒体に圧接した状態における当該板状信号伝送媒体の弾性変形部分を収容する空間から形成された変形許容部が設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電気コネクタ。
