Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の一実施形態に従うFDD及びTDDをサポートする端末の端末性能情報送信方法は、基地局から端末性能情報を要請するメッセージを受信するステップ、端末性能情報を要請する上記メッセージを受信すれば、第1性能情報及び第2性能情報を生成するステップ、及び上記第1性能情報及び上記第2性能情報を含む端末性能情報を上記基地局に送信するステップを含むことができる。上記第1性能情報は、FDDモードに適用されるFDD性能情報、TDDモードに適用されるTDD性能情報のうちのいずれか1つを含み、上記第2性能情報は上記FDDモード及び上記TDDモード両方とも適用される性能情報を含むことができる。本発明の一実施形態によれば、デュアルモード端末が性能を報告するに当たって端末の性能を最大限活用できるようにする効果がある。

Description
あるいは、上記動作を遂行するに当たって、端末はFDDの性能関連情報とTDDの性能関連情報とが互いに同一であるか否かを考慮することもできる。例えば、FDD性能関連情報(例えば、FDD FGIセット)がTDD性能関連情報(例えば、TDD FGIセット)と異なる場合のみに上記2つセットを共に報告し、2つ情報が同一であれば拡張フィールドを含めないことがある。したがって、基地局410は1つのFGIセットのみを含む端末性能情報を受信すれば、これがTDD及びFDD全てに適用されることと見なして処理することができる。
●従来フィールドのfeatureGroupIndicatorsのうち、移動性関連FGIは従来フィールドのrf-Parametersに含まれた帯域に対してのみIOTしたか否かを指示する。
●拡張フィールドのfeatureGroupIndicatorsのうち、移動性関連FGIは拡張フィールドのrf-Parametersに含まれた帯域と従来の関連フィールドのrf-Parametersに含まれた帯域を全て考慮して従来の関連フィールドのFGIで報告されていない項目に対するIOTしたか否かを全て報告する。
●従来フィールドの移動性関連FGIビット、例えばFGI25は以下の状況に対してIOTテストしたか否かを指示する。
−FDD(あるいは、ステップ635ではTDD)バンドでFDD(あるいは、ステップ635ではTDD)バンドに対するインター−フリークエンシー測定に対してIOTテストしたか否か
●拡張フィールドの移動性関連FGIビット、例えばFGI25は以下の状況に対してIOTテストしたか否かを指示する(即ち、総4個のケースのうち、従来の関連フィールドで報告された1つを除外した残りの3個に対する報告を遂行する)。
−FDD(あるいは、ステップ635ではTDD)バンドでTDD(あるいは、ステップ635ではFDD)バンドに対するインター−フリークエンシー測定を遂行することに対してIOTテストしたか否か
−TDD(あるいは、ステップ635ではFDD)バンドでTDD(あるいは、ステップ635ではFDD)バンドに対するインター−フリークエンシー測定を遂行することに対してIOTテストしたか否か
−TDD(あるいは、ステップ635ではFDD)バンドでFDD(あるいは、ステップ635ではTDD)バンドに対するインター−フリークエンシー測定を遂行することに対してIOTテストしたか否か
−UE-EUTRA-Capability-1:これはFDD帯域のみを考慮して決定されたUE-EUTRA-Capabilityである。より詳しくは、端末405はrf-Parameterに自身がサポートするFDDバンドのみ含めて、FGIセットのFIGビットを設定するに当たって、該当フィーチャーグループ(feature group)がFDDバンドでIOTテストを経たか否かを指示するように設定する。端末405は、選択的フィーチャー(Optional feature)、例えばphyLayerParametersに含まれる種々のフィーチャーに対してサポートしたか否かを報告するに当たって、FDDバンドでサポートされ、IOTテストが完了したもののみを報告する。
−UE-EUTRA-Capability-2:これはTDD帯域のみを考慮して決定されたUE-EUTRA-Capabilityである。より詳しくは、端末405はrf-Parameterに自身がサポートするTDDバンドのみ含めて、FGIセットのFIGビットを設定するに当たって、該当フィーチャーグループ(feature group)がTDDバンドでIOTテストを経たか否かを指示するように設定する。端末405は、選択的フィーチャー、例えばphyLayerParametersに含まれる種々のフィーチャーに対してサポートしたか否かを報告するに当たって、TDDバンドでサポートされ、IOTテストが完了したもののみを報告する。
−UE-EUTRA-Capability-3:これはFDD帯域とTDD帯域を全て考慮して決定されたUE-EUTRA-Capabilityである。より詳しくは、端末405はrf-Parameterに端末405がサポートする全てのバンドを含めて、FGIビットを設定するに当たって、該当フィーチャーグループが上記端末がサポートするバンドのうち、少なくとも1つ以上のFDDバンドと少なくとも1つ以上のTDDバンドでIOTテストを経たか否かを指示する。端末405は、選択的フィーチャー、例えばphyLayerParametersの種々のフィーチャーに対してサポートしたか否かは、FDDバンドとTDDバンドで全てサポートされ、IOTテストが完了したもののみを報告する。

Claims (12)
- ユーザ端末(User equipment、UE)の性能情報(capability)を送信するための方法において、
ユーザ端末性能情報の要請メッセージを受信するステップと、
前記受信された要請メッセージに基づいて、周波数分割複信(frequency division duplex、FDD)の第1情報と時分割複信(time division duplex、TDD)の第2情報を識別するステップと、
前記第1情報が前記第2情報と異なる場合、前記第1情報と前記第2情報の両方を含む前記ユーザ端末性能情報のメッセージを送信するステップと、
前記第1情報と前記第2情報が同一の場合、前記第1情報と前記第2情報の何れかを含む前記ユーザ端末性能情報のメッセージを送信するステップと、を含む、方法。 - 前記第1情報は、FDDモードに適用できるFDD性能情報を含み、
前記第2情報は、TDDモードに適用できるTDD性能情報を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 前記第1情報と前記第2情報は、少なくとも1つのフィーチャーグループ識別子(Feature Group Indicator、FGI)、ユーザ端末特定レファレンス信号情報(UE specific reference signal information)、測定ギャップ要求情報(measurement gap requirement)及び物理階層パラメータ(physical layer parameter)を含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- ユーザ端末(User equipment、UE)装置において、
ユーザ端末性能情報の要請メッセージを受信し、周波数分割複信(frequency division duplex、FDD)の第1情報と時分割複信(time division duplex、TDD)の第2情報が異なる場合、前記第1情報と前記第2情報の両方を含む前記ユーザ端末性能情報のメッセージを送信し、前記第1情報と前記第2情報が同一の場合、前記第1情報と前記第2情報の何れかを含む前記ユーザ端末性能情報のメッセージを送信する送受信機と、
前記受信された要請メッセージに基づいて、前記第1情報と前記第2情報を識別する制御器と、を含む、ユーザ端末装置。 - 前記第1情報は、FDDモードに適用できるFDD性能情報を含み、
前記第2情報は、TDDモードに適用できるTDD性能情報を含む、請求項4に記載のユーザ端末装置。 - 前記第1情報と前記第2情報は、少なくとも1つのフィーチャーグループ識別子(Feature Group Indicator、FGI)、ユーザ端末特定レファレンス信号情報(UE specific reference signal information)、測定ギャップ要求情報(measurement gap requirement)及び物理階層パラメータ(physical layer parameter)を含む、請求項4に記載のユーザ端末装置。
- ユーザ端末(User equipment、UE)の性能情報(capability)を受信するための方法において、
ユーザ端末性能情報の要請メッセージを送信するステップと、
前記要請メッセージに対する応答として、ユーザ端末性能情報のメッセージを受信するステップと、を含み、
前記ユーザ端末性能情報は、周波数分割複信(frequency division duplex、FDD)の第1情報と時分割複信(time division duplex、TDD)の第2情報の両方を含む、又は、前記第1情報と前記第2情報の何れかを含む、受信方法。 - 前記第1情報は、FDDモードに適用できるFDD性能情報を含み、
前記第2情報は、TDDモードに適用できるTDD性能情報を含む、請求項7に記載の受信方法。 - 前記第1情報と前記第2情報は、少なくとも1つのフィーチャーグループ識別子(Feature Group Indicator、FGI)、ユーザ端末特定レファレンス信号情報(UE specific reference signal information)、測定ギャップ要求情報(measurement gap requirement)及び物理階層パラメータ(physical layer parameter)を含む、請求項7に記載の受信方法。
- 基地局(evolved node B、eNB)装置において、
ユーザ端末(User equipment、UE)性能情報の要請メッセージを送信し、前記要請メッセージに応答したユーザ端末性能情報のメッセージを受信する送受信機を含み、
前記ユーザ端末性能情報は、周波数分割複信(frequency division duplex、FDD)の第1情報と時分割複信(time division duplex、TDD)の第2情報の両方を含む、又は、前記第1情報と前記第2情報の何れかを含む、基地局装置。 - 前記第1情報は、FDDモードに適用できるFDD性能情報を含み、
前記第2情報は、TDDモードに適用できるTDD性能情報を含む、請求項10に記載の基地局装置。 - 前記第1情報と前記第2情報は、少なくとも1つのフィーチャーグループ識別子(Feature Group Indicator、FGI)、ユーザ端末特定レファレンス信号情報(UE specific reference signal information)、測定ギャップ要求情報(measurement gap requirement)及び物理階層パラメータ(physical layer parameter)を含む、請求項10に記載の基地局装置。
