Abstract
Description
第1樹脂部材に向かって突出するように第2樹脂部材に形成される凸部であって、第1樹脂部材に突き合わされた状態でレーザ照射によって溶融して第1樹脂部材に接着する凸部(21)と、
第1樹脂部材または第2樹脂部材において凸部に対して両側に位置するように設けられる凹部であって、レーザ照射によって溶融した凸部の少なくとも一部を収容する凹部(22,23;32,33)と、を備えることを特徴とする。
第1樹脂部材に向かって突出するように第2樹脂部材に形成される凸部(21)と第1樹脂部材とを突き合わせる突き合わせ工程と、
突き合わされた第1樹脂部材及び第2樹脂部材に対して、凸部に接触する位置に向けて第1樹脂部材側からレーザ光を照射して凸部を溶融し、第1樹脂部材と第2樹脂部材とを接着する接着工程と、を有し、
突き合わせ工程で突き合わされる第1樹脂部材及び第2樹脂部材のいずれかには、凸部に対して両側に位置する凹部(22,23;32,33)が形成されており、
接着工程では、レーザ光の照射によって溶融した凸部の少なくとも一部が凹部に流れ込んで収容されることを特徴とする。
本発明の一実施形態である第1実施形態に係る樹脂成形品について、図1〜図6を参照しながら説明する。樹脂成形品は、レーザ光を透過するレーザ透過性を有する第1樹脂部材とレーザ光を吸収するレーザ吸収性を有する第2樹脂部材とをレーザ照射によって接合してなる製品である。樹脂成形品は、このようなレーザ照射による樹脂の溶着を伴う接着部分を有する。樹脂成形品は、一例として、燃料蒸発ガスパージシステムに用いられるパージ制御弁1のハウジングに適用することができる。
以下、第2実施形態に係る樹脂成形品及び樹脂成形品の製造方法について図7及び図8を参照して説明する。各図において、第1実施形態と同様の構成であるものは同一の符号を付し、同様の作用、効果を奏するものである。第2実施形態で特に説明しない構成、作用、効果については、第1実施形態と同様であり、以下、前述の実施形態と異なる点についてのみ説明する。また、第2実施形態において前述の実施形態と同様の構成を有するものは、前述の実施形態で説明した同様の作用、効果を奏するものとする。
上述の実施形態では、本発明の好ましい実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上述した実施形態に何ら制限されることなく、本発明の主旨を逸脱しない範囲において種々変形して実施することが可能である。

Claims (6)
- レーザ光を透過するレーザ透過性を有する第1樹脂部材(3)とレーザ光を吸収するレーザ吸収性を有する第2樹脂部材(2)とをレーザ照射によって接合してなる樹脂成形品であって、
前記第1樹脂部材に向かって突出するように前記第2樹脂部材に形成される凸部であって、前記第1樹脂部材に突き合わされた状態でレーザ照射によって溶融して前記第1樹脂部材に接着する凸部(21)と、
前記第1樹脂部材または前記第2樹脂部材において前記凸部に対して両側に位置するように設けられる凹部であって、レーザ照射によって溶融した前記凸部の少なくとも一部を収容する凹部(22,23;32,33)と、
を備えることを特徴とする樹脂成形品。 - 前記凹部は、前記第1樹脂部材ではなく前記第2樹脂部材に設けられることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の樹脂成形品。
- 前記第1樹脂部材及び前記第2樹脂部材は、キャニスタからの蒸発燃料を内燃機関へ供給するための蒸発燃料供給用通路を開閉可能なパージ制御弁(1)において、蒸発燃料の供給を受ける入力ポート(2a)を備え弁体(5)及び電磁コイル(4)を収容する入力側ハウジング部(2)と、蒸発燃料の出力ポート(3a)を備える出力側ハウジング部(3)と、であることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載の樹脂成形品。
- レーザ光を透過するレーザ透過性を有する第1樹脂部材(3)とレーザ光を吸収するレーザ吸収性を有する第2樹脂部材(2)とをレーザ照射によって接合して製造される樹脂成形品の製造方法であって、
前記第1樹脂部材に向かって突出するように前記第2樹脂部材に形成される凸部(21)と前記第1樹脂部材とを突き合わせる突き合わせ工程と、
突き合わされた前記第1樹脂部材及び前記第2樹脂部材に対して、前記凸部に接触する位置に向けて前記第1樹脂部材側からレーザ光を照射して前記凸部を溶融し、前記第1樹脂部材と前記第2樹脂部材とを接着する接着工程と、を有し、
前記突き合わせ工程で突き合わされる前記第1樹脂部材及び前記第2樹脂部材のいずれかには、前記凸部に対して両側に位置する凹部(22,23;32,33)が形成されており、
前記接着工程では、前記レーザ光の照射によって溶融した前記凸部の少なくとも一部が前記凹部に流れ込んで収容されることを特徴とする樹脂成形品の製造方法。 - 前記レーザ光の照射によって溶融される前の前記凸部の体積は、前記凸部が前記溶融される前の前記凹部の収容可能な容積よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の樹脂成形品の製造方法。
- 前記凸部が前記レーザ光の照射によって溶融される前の前記凹部の底面には、少なくとも隅部に相当する箇所に湾曲面が形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4または請求項5に記載の樹脂成形品の製造方法。
