Abstract
【解決手段】レーザ光に対して透過性を有する樹脂部品2と前記レーザ光に対して吸収性を有する樹脂部品3とを重ね合わせて前記両樹脂部品が互いに接触する接触部21を形成する工程、前記接触部21の一端部に面して前記接触部21に隣接する閉空間6を形成する工程、及び、前記接触部21を介して前記両樹脂部品を互いに押圧し、透過性を有する前記樹脂部品2から前記レーザ光を照射して前記接触部21を加熱して前記接触部21の樹脂を溶融させ、溶融して前記接触部21から排斥された樹脂7を前記閉空間6に収納させ、前記接触部21で溶融した樹脂を凝固させて前記両樹脂部品を溶着する工程を施す。

Description
このように鋭利な形状で凝固した排斥樹脂は、振動や衝撃が加えられると脱落しやすいことから、溶着部を備えた製品の使用環境や輸送環境を汚損する問題がある。また、電子部品等の精密部品を収納した内部空間を備えた製品の場合には、内部に脱落した排斥樹脂の衝突によって、精密部品が損傷される問題がある。また脱落しなくても、鋭利な部分が製品の外部に露出することは、美観を損ねる問題がある。
さらに、この発明に係わる樹脂溶着体は、レーザ光に対して透過性を有する樹脂部品と、前記レーザ光に対して吸収性を有する樹脂部品と、前記両樹脂部品を重ね合わせて形成された前記両樹脂部品の接触部がレーザ光により溶着された接合部と、前記接触部の一端部から排斥され溶融凝固された樹脂が成形されているものである。
さらに、この発明の樹脂溶着体によれば、両樹脂部品を重ね合わせて形成された前記両樹脂部品の接触部がレーザ光により溶着された接合部と、前記接触部の一端部から排斥され溶融凝固された樹脂が成形されているので、脱落して環境を汚損することを防止できる。
図1は本発明の実施の形態1である樹脂溶着体を示す部分断面図である。樹脂溶着体として有底円筒状のケースと蓋体で形成される密封容器1を例にして説明する。密封容器1の蓋体2はレーザ光に対して透過性を有する樹脂部品であり、有底円筒状のケース3は前記レーザ光に対して吸収性を有する樹脂部品である。両樹脂部品が接触して形成された接触部21が溶着されて接合部4を形成している。接合部4は、ケース3に設けられた環状のリブ(第2環状突起)5の先端部と蓋体2との間に存在し、溶着時にレーザ加熱によって一旦溶融し、再度凝固した箇所である。リブ5は、ケース3の外周に沿って内周側に環状に設けられており、その外周側には蓋体2とケース3の最外周の第1環状突起22との嵌合により形成された閉空間6が設けられている。
当然ながら、実施の形態として挙げた密閉容器1は本発明の樹脂溶着体の一例に過ぎない。接合部4は環状である必要はなく、必要に応じて、線状あるいは点状など任意の形状が選択できる。また、閉空間6の形状も接合部4(又は接触部21)の形状に合わせて任意に選択することができる。ただし、閉空間6の内壁の一部に接触部21の一端部又は接合部4の端部が露出している必要がある。
図4は実施の形態2である樹脂溶着体を示す部分断面図である。実施の形態1との相違点は、接触部21から排斥された樹脂を収納する閉空間を有していないことである。リブ(第2環状突起)5の内周側には、蓋体2に設けられた第4環状突起10が嵌合されているため、接触部21からの排斥樹脂7は、リブ5の外周側にはみ出し、閉空間が設けられていないため、ケース3の外周面に露出している。この排斥樹脂7の露出面は全部または一部が所定の形状に成形されている。なお、24は接触部21の外周側の端部に面してケース3に形成された排斥樹脂7の溜め部である。
このように排斥された溶融樹脂は鋭利ではない所定の形状に成形されている為、振動や衝撃に対する脱落の危険が低減できる。ここで、概閉空間14の容積は排斥樹脂7の体積と同程度に設定することが望ましい。概閉空間14の容積が排斥樹脂7の体積よりも過大であれば、排斥樹脂7は概閉空間14の中で自由に成長でき、鋭利な形状への成長を抑制する効果が減少する。一方、過小であれば鋳型A1と蓋体2あるいはケース3との間に存在するわずかな隙間に排斥樹脂7が侵入し、結果として鋭利な形状に至る。

Claims (11)
- レーザ光に対して透過性を有する樹脂部品と前記レーザ光に対して吸収性を有する樹脂部品とを重ね合わせて前記両樹脂部品が互いに接触する接触部を形成する工程、
前記接触部の一端部に面して前記接触部に隣接する閉空間を形成する工程、及び、
前記接触部を介して前記両樹脂部品を互いに押圧し、透過性を有する前記樹脂部品から前記レーザ光を照射して前記接触部を加熱して前記接触部の樹脂を溶融させ、溶融して前記接触部から排斥された樹脂を前記閉空間に収納させ、前記接触部で溶融した樹脂を凝固させて前記両樹脂部品を溶着する工程を施す樹脂溶着体の製造方法。 - 前記接触部の一端部に面して前記接触部に隣接する閉空間は、前記両樹脂部品の一方の環状突起に他方が嵌合して形成される請求項1記載の樹脂溶着体の製造方法。
- 前記両樹脂部品が互いに接触する接触部は、前記両樹脂部品の一方の環状突起に前記両樹脂部品の他方が接触して形成されると共に、前記両樹脂部品の前記他方には,前記接触部の他端部側で前記両樹脂部品の前記一方の環状突起に嵌合する環状突起を設けて、前記接触部の他端部からの溶融樹脂の排斥を防止するようにした請求項1又は請求項2記載の樹脂溶着体の製造方法。
- レーザ光に対して透過性を有する樹脂部品と前記レーザ光に対して吸収性を有する樹脂部品とを重ね合わせて前記両樹脂部品が互いに接触する接触部を形成する工程、
前記接触部を介して前記両樹脂部品を互いに押圧し、透過性を有する前記樹脂部品から前記レーザ光を照射して前記接触部を加熱して前記接触部の樹脂を溶融させ、溶融した樹脂を凝固させて前記接触部で前記両樹脂部品を溶着する工程、及び、
溶融して前記接触部から排斥される樹脂を成形する工程
を施す樹脂溶着体の製造方法。 - 溶融して前記接触部から排斥される樹脂は、前記接触部の一端部に対向して設けられた鋳型で成形されるようにした請求項4記載の樹脂溶着体の製造方法。
- 前記鋳型は、常温よりも高い温度に保たれている請求項5記載の樹脂溶着体の製造方法。
- 前記鋳型は、排斥された樹脂を成形した後、成形した樹脂と接する面を複数に分割するように型開きされる請求項5又は請求項6記載の樹脂溶着体の製造方法。
- レーザ光に対して透過性を有する樹脂部品と、前記レーザ光に対して吸収性を有する樹脂部品と、
前記両樹脂部品を重ね合わせて形成された前記両樹脂部品の接触部がレーザ光により溶着された接合部と、
前記接触部の一端部に面して前記接触部に隣接して形成された閉空間とを備え、前記閉空間には前記接触部から排斥され溶融凝固した樹脂が収納されていることを特徴とする樹脂溶着体。 - 前記接触部の一端部に面して前記接触部に隣接する閉空間は、前記両樹脂部品の一方の環状突起に他方が嵌合して形成されていることを特徴とする請求項8記載の樹脂溶着体。
- 前記両樹脂部品の接触部は、前記両樹脂部品の一方の環状突起に前記両樹脂部品の他方が接触して形成されると共に、前記両樹脂部品の前記他方には,前記接触部の他端部側で前記両樹脂部品の前記一方の環状突起に嵌合する環状突起を設けている請求項8又は請求項9記載の樹脂溶着体。
- レーザ光に対して透過性を有する樹脂部品と、前記レーザ光に対して吸収性を有する樹脂部品と、
前記両樹脂部品を重ね合わせて形成された前記両樹脂部品の接触部がレーザ光により溶着された接合部と、
前記接触部の一端部から排斥され溶融凝固された樹脂が成形されていることを特徴とする樹脂溶着体。
