本出願は、2008年8月19日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/089,986号の利益を主張するものである。

冷却する方法には、本発明の共沸混合物様組成物を含む冷媒組成物を凝縮すること、次いで、冷却される物品の近傍にある前記冷媒組成物を蒸発させることが含まれる。物品を加熱するある特定の好ましい方法には、加熱される物品の近傍にある本発明の共沸混合物様組成物を含む冷媒組成物を凝縮すること、次いで、前記冷媒組成物を蒸発させることが含まれる。本明細書における開示に照らして、当業者は過度の実験を行わなくとも、本発明に従って物品を容易に加熱または冷却することができる。
上部に凝縮器を有する真空ジャケット付きチューブから成り、さらに水晶温度計を備えた沸点測定装置を使用する。約17.41gのHFO−1234yfを沸点測定装置に充填し、次に、HFC−134aを、計量した増分で少しずつ加える。HFC−134aをHFO−1234yfに加えた時、温度低下が観察され、このことは極小の沸点を有する2成分の共沸混合物が形成されることを示している。約ゼロを超えて、約60重量%までのHFC−134aでは、組成物の沸点は、HFO−1234yfの沸点より下か、またはHFO−1234yfの沸点の近辺にとどまる。HFC−134aの通常の沸点は、約−26.3℃である。表1に示した2成分の混合物は、組成物の沸点(T℃)が、HFO−1234yfの沸点を超えなかったことを示している。組成物は、この範囲にわたり、共沸混合物および/または共沸混合物様組成物の特性を示している。
HFO−1234yfとHFC−134aの共沸混合物様組成物(質量単位で50/50)を、機器を備えた自動車空調システム内に充填し、通常運転に典型的な条件下で、試験を行った。条件は、自動車車両の運転中に経験する条件として、自動車技術者協会(SAE;Society of Automotive Engineers)の規格J2765において規定されている。システムは、コンプレッサーの循環およびシステム制御の影響による結果を除くために、35、45および50℃の周囲温度に対する全負荷での冷却を示す条件において評価した。表2は、そのような試験から得られた結果を示している。冷却運転およびヒートポンプ運転において、排出温度がより低く吸気圧力がより高いことは、この共沸混合物様のブレンドを魅力的なものとする。排出温度がより低いと、システムの潤滑剤、材料および冷媒自体の熱安定性を確固たるものとすることが加わる。より高い吸気圧力は、混合物のより高い排出圧力と競合するが、これにより、熱交換器がさらに最適化され、使用するエネルギーの省力化を達成することができる。

前記冷却装置が、冷媒および潤滑剤を含み;前記冷媒が、クロロフルオロカーボン、ヒドロフルオロカーボン、ヒドロクロロフルオロカーボン、クロロフルオロカーボンまたはこれらの組合せを含み;前記潤滑剤が、鉱油、アルキルベンゼン、ポリアルファオレフィン、ポリオールエステル、ポリアルキレングリコール、ポリビニルエーテル、合成ナフタレン、フルオロ潤滑剤またはこれらの組合せを含み;前記方法が、前記冷却装置から前記冷媒の少なくとも一部を除去または漏出し、潤滑剤を含む残留物を残す工程、および前記残留物に1に記載の共沸混合物様組成物を加える工程を含む、前記方法。
15.1に記載の共沸混合物様組成物を含む、溶媒。
Claims (15)
- 共沸混合物様組成物を形成するための、1,1,1,2−テトラフルオロプロペンおよび1,1,1,2−テトラフルオロエタンの有効量から本質的になる、共沸混合物様組成物。
- 噴霧される材料、および請求項1に記載の共沸混合物様組成物を含む噴射剤を含む、噴霧性組成物。
- 噴霧される材料が、薬剤、生物活性材料、消臭剤、香水、ヘアスプレー、洗剤、ワックス、フラックス除去剤、研磨材、室内芳香剤、殺虫剤、料理用の油またはこれらの組合せを含む、請求項2に記載の噴霧性組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の共沸混合物様組成物を含む、冷媒組成物。
- 請求項4に記載の冷媒組成物を凝縮させること、次いで、冷却すべき物品の近傍で前記冷媒組成物を蒸発させることを含む、物品を冷却する方法。
- 加熱すべき物品の近傍で請求項4に記載の冷媒組成物を凝縮させること、次いで、前記冷媒組成物を蒸発させることを含む、物品を加熱する方法。
- 請求項1に記載の共沸混合物様組成物を含む、発泡剤。
- ポリオールおよび請求項7に記載の発泡剤を含む、フォームプレミックス組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の共沸混合物様組成物および少なくとも1つの熱硬化性フォーム成分を含む、発泡性組成物。
- 前記少なくとも1つの熱硬化性成分が、ポリウレタンフォーム、フェノール樹脂フォームまたはポリイソシアヌレートフォームを形成できる組成物を含む、請求項9に記載の発泡性組成物。
- 請求項1に記載の共沸混合物様組成物および少なくとも1つの熱可塑性フォーム成分を含む、発泡性組成物。
- 前記熱可塑性フォーム成分が、ポリスチレン、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレンテレフタレートおよびこれらの組合せを含む、請求項11に記載の発泡性組成物。
- (a)冷却システム内の潤滑剤の実質的な部分を保持しながら、交換される冷媒を前記冷却システムから除去すること;および(b)請求項4に記載の冷媒組成物を前記システムに導入すること;を含む、交換される冷媒および潤滑剤を含有する冷媒システムを再充填する方法。
