Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- 2つの管の端部を相互接続する管継手であって、
管の周りに嵌まる管状のケーシングと、
前記管の外面の周りで前記ケーシングを締める締め付け手段と、
前記管の前記外面を把持するために前記ケーシング内に取り付けられた少なくとも1つの弾性把持リングを備えた動的軸方向拘束システムと、を備え、
前記把持リングは、
前記ケーシングの内面と係合し、且つ前記管が軸方向荷重を受けると前記ケーシングの前記内面に対して転動するよう構成された外面と、
前記管の前記外面に係合する内側把持面であり、前記外面が前記管状のケーシングの前記内面に対して転動すると、前記管と接触する前記把持面の面積が増加するよう構成されている内側把持面と、を有する管継手。 - 請求項1に記載の管継手において、前記把持リングは、前記ケーシングの前記内面と係合する外側凸面を備える管継手。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の管継手において、前記弾性把持リングの前記内側把持面は、前記把持リングの初期位置で前記管の前記外面と係合する把持縁部を有する第1環状突起と、把持縁部を有する第2環状突起とを備え、該第2環状突起は、前記第1環状突起から軸方向にオフセットしており、前記把持リングの前記外面が前記管状のケーシングの前記内面に対して転動すると前記第2環状突起の前記把持縁部を前記管の前記外面と係合させるよう構成されている管継手。
- 請求項3に記載の管継手において、前記第2環状突起の前記把持縁部は、前記第1環状突起の前記把持縁部から半径方向にオフセットしている管継手。
- 請求項3又は4に記載の管継手において、前記第2環状突起の高さは、前記第1環状突起の高さよりも低い管継手。
- 請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記弾性把持リングの前記内側把持面は、前記把持リングの初期位置で前記管の前記外面と係合する把持縁部を有する第1環状突起と、それぞれが把持縁部を有する複数の付加的な環状突起とを備え、該複数の付加的な環状突起は、第1環状突起から軸方向に徐々にオフセットしており、前記把持リングの前記外面が前記ケーシングの前記内面に対して転動すると前記付加的な環状突起の前記把持縁部を前記管の前記外面と徐々に係合させるよう構成されている管継手。
- 請求項6に記載の管継手において、前記付加的な環状突起の高さが前記第1環状突起と比べて徐々に減ることで、前記把持縁部が実質的に円錐台形の把持面を画定する管継手。
- 請求項3〜6のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、各環状突起は、頂点が前記把持縁部を定める三角形の断面形状を有する管継手。
- 請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記内側把持面は、前記環状突起の後方に画定された1つ又は複数の環状チャネルをさらに備える管継手。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記ケーシングは、ウェブ部を有する略U字形の断面を有し、フランジが前記ウェブ部の軸方向端部から半径方向内方に突出して環状チャネルを画定し、前記少なくとも1つの弾性把持リングは、前記ケーシングの軸方向端部において前記ケーシングのフランジの内面に当接して前記環状チャネル内に取り付けられる管継手。
- 請求項10に記載の管継手において、前記ケーシングの軸方向両端部において前記ケーシングの前記フランジの内面に当接して前記環状チャネル内に取り付けられた複数の弾性把持リングを備えた管継手。
- 請求項10又は11に記載の管継手において、前記弾性把持リングは、前記ケーシングの前記軸方向端部を通して突出する環状フランジをさらに備え、前記把持リングの前記環状フランジは、前記ケーシングの対応する前記フランジの自由縁部との当接によって前記ケーシングの前記内面に対する前記把持リングの前記外面の転動を制限するよう構成されている管継手。
- 請求項1〜12のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記管状のケーシングは、外側ケーシングと、該外側ケーシング内に嵌まる内側ケーシングとを含む管継手。
- 請求項13に記載の管継手において、耐火断熱材料層をさらに備え、該耐火断熱材料層は、前記内側ケーシング及び前記外側ケーシング間に配置され、それにより前記内側ケーシング及び前記外側ケーシングが相互に熱的に絶縁される管継手。
- 請求項1〜14のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記把持リングは、前記管の前記外面に係合する複数の内方に突出した歯をさらに備え、該複数の歯は、前記把持リングの前記内側把持面上で周方向に離間して、前記管の前記外面の周りでの管軸を中心とした前記把持リングの回転運動を実質的に防止する管継手。
- 請求項1〜15のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記把持リングは、2つ以上の弧状セグメントから形成される管継手。
- 請求項1〜16のいずれか1項に記載の管継手において、前記ケーシング内に位置する管状のシーリングスリーブをさらに備えた管継手。
