Claims (6)
- セラミック物品において、
主にアルミナ、マグネシア、およびチタニアを含む擬板チタン石相と、
コージエライトを含む第二相と、
ムライトを含む第三相と、
を有してなり、
コージエライト対ムライトの相比が0.9以上かつ7以下である、セラミック物品。 - 前記コージエライト対ムライトの相比が1.3以上かつ2.5以下である、請求項1記載のセラミック物品。
- 40体積%超の全気孔率、および25〜800℃の間で測定して、14×10-7/K以下の熱膨張係数を有する、請求項1または2記載のセラミック物品。
- 50質量%以上かつ80質量%以下の擬板チタン石相を含む、請求項1から3いずれか1項記載のセラミック物品。
- セラミック物品を製造する方法において、
マグネシア源、シリカ源、アルミナ源、チタニア源、および少なくとも1種類の焼結助剤を含む無機バッチ組成物を提供する工程、
前記無機バッチ組成物を、可塑剤、滑剤、結合剤、細孔形成剤、および溶媒からなる群より選択される1種類以上の加工助剤と共に混合して、可塑化セラミック前駆体バッチ組成物を形成する工程、
前記可塑化セラミック前駆体バッチ組成物を未焼成体に成形する工程、および
前記未焼成体を、該未焼成体を、主にアルミナ、マグネシア、およびチタニアを含む擬板チタン石相と、コージエライトを含む第二相と、ムライトを含む第三相とを有するセラミック物品であって、コージエライト対ムライトの相比が0.9以上かつ4以下であるセラミック物品に転化させるのに効果的な条件下で焼成する工程、
を有してなる方法。 - 前記コージエライト対ムライトの相比が1.3以上かつ2.5以下である、請求項5記載の方法。
