Claims (17)
- 固体自由形状オブジェクト製造システムであって、
粉末ベースの付加製造装置を収容する製造チャンバと、
環境制御装置を収容する第1の環境制御チャンバと、
前記製造チャンバと前記第1の環境制御チャンバとの間の相互接続部と、
を備えるシステム。 - 前記付加製造装置が、
直接レーザ焼結装置と、
直接レーザ溶融装置と、
選択的レーザ焼結装置と、
選択的レーザ溶融装置と、
レーザエンジニアドネットシェイピング装置と、
電子ビーム溶融装置と、
直接金属堆積装置と、
からなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載のシステム。 - 前記環境制御チャンバが、少なくともブロワ、フィルタ、制御システム、及び不活性ガス源を収容する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記不活性ガス源が、ヘリウム、ネオン、アルゴン、窒素、及びそれらの混合物を含む、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記相互接続部が、配管、バルブ、及び制御システムを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記バルブ操作が、自動、半自動、又は手動オーバーライドである、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記環境制御チャンバのフィルタがフィルタの詰まりに起因する有限の寿命を有する、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 少なくとも第2の環境制御チャンバが前記製造チャンバに相互接続される、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記相互接続部が、配管、バルブ、及び制御システムを含む、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 前記バルブ操作が、自動、半自動、又は手動オーバーライドである、請求項7に記載のシステム。
- 自由形状オブジェクトの製造方法であって、
第1の環境制御チャンバを製造チャンバに接続することによって前記製造チャンバ内に不活性環境を生み出すことと、
第1の環境制御チャンバから濾過された不活性ガスを前記製造チャンバとの相互接続部を通して吹き込むことによって前記製造チャンバを通して不活性環境を循環させることと、
自由形状オブジェクトを造形するのにかかる時間にわたって前記製造チャンバ内の付加製造装置を稼働させることと、
前記稼働時間が前記第1の環境制御チャンバのフィルタが詰まるのにかかる時間を超える場合に、ビルドを確実に成功させるために、前記不活性ガスの流れを途切れさせることなく前記製造チャンバとの相互接続部を通じて第2の環境制御チャンバに切り換えることと、
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1の環境制御チャンバ及び前記第2の環境制御チャンバが、それぞれ、少なくともブロワ、フィルタ、制御システム、及び不活性ガス源を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記環境制御チャンバのフィルタがフィルタの詰まりに起因する有限の寿命を有する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記製造チャンバと前記環境制御チャンバとの間の前記相互接続部が、配管、バルブ、及び制御システムを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記バルブ操作が、自動、半自動、又は手動オーバーライドである、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記付加製造装置が、
直接レーザ焼結装置と、
直接レーザ溶融装置と、
選択的レーザ焼結装置と、
選択的レーザ溶融装置と、
レーザエンジニアドネットシェイピング装置と、
電子ビーム溶融装置と、

からなる群から選択される、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記製造チャンバ及び前記環境制御チャンバがマスター制御システムの制御下にある、請求項11に記載の方法。
