Claims (39)
- 少なくとも1つの細長い中空の半透性部材と、少なくとも1つのアノードと、少なくとも1つのカソードとを備え、
前記アノード及び前記カソードが前記半透性部材に対して半径方向に且つ同心に配置されている、処理装置。 - 隣合う複数のアノード及び複数のカソードが、前記カソードと前記アノードとの間で電解領域を定めるよう交互になっている、請求項1に記載の処理装置。
- 細長い中空の前記半透性部材から半径方向に内向き又は外向きに見たときのアノード及びカソードの並び方が、
(i)カソード、アノード、
(ii)アノード、カソード、
(iii)アノード、カソード、アノード、
(iv)カソード、アノード、カソード、
(v)アノード、カソード、アノード、カソード、
(vi)カソード、アノード、カソード、アノード、
(vii)カソード、アノード、カソード、アノード、カソード、又は
(viii)アノード、カソード、アノード、カソード、アノード
から選択される、請求項1又は2に記載の処理装置。 - 中空の前記半透性部材が、カソード又はアノードとして形成されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 中空の前記半透性部材が、中空且つ半透性のカソードであり、アノードが前記カソードに対して半径方向に且つ同心に配置されている、請求項4に記載の処理装置。
- カソードが前記アノードに対して半径方向に且つ同心に配置されている、請求項5に記載の処理装置。
- 中空の前記半透性部材が、中空且つ半透性のアノードであり、カソードが前記アノードに対して半径方向に且つ同心に配置されている、請求項4に記載の処理装置。
- 中空の前記半透性部材がフィルタ要素である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 前記フィルタ要素が、水フィルタ要素又は海水フィルタ要素である、請求項8に記載の処理装置。
- 前記アノード及び/又は前記カソードが、隣合うアノード又はカソードの実質的に全外周の周囲で延びている、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 前記アノード/前記カソードが、円周方向に、電気的絶縁スペーサによって離散的セクションに分割され、
隣合うアノード及びカソードが、隣合う電気的絶縁スペーサの間にて延びている、請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。 - 前記電気的絶縁スペーサが、当該処理装置を2以上の離散的な半径方向流路に分割するように設けられている、請求項11に記載の処理装置。
- 細長い前記半透性部材の一端又は両端は開放されており、使用中、該一端又は両端を通して液体が流れることができるようになっている、前記請求項のいずれかに記載の処理装置。
- 液体が、細長い前記半透性部材の一端又は両端を通って当該処理装置に流入し、前記半透性部材の壁を通って半径方向外方に流れるようになっている、請求項13に記載の処理装置。
- 液体が、細長い前記半透性部材の壁を通って半径方向内方に当該処理装置に流入し、前記半透性部材の長軸に沿って当該処理装置から流出するようになっている、請求項13に記載の処理装置。
- 少なくとも1つのアノード及びカソードが細長く、各々が、細長い中空の前記半透性部材の周囲に円周方向且つ半径方向に配置されている、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 少なくとも1つのアノード及びカソードが細長く、各々が、細長い中空の前記半透性部材の内部に円周方向且つ半径方向に配置されている、請求項1〜15のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 少なくとも1つのアノード及びカソードは、液体が前記少なくとも1つのアノード及びカソードを通過できるように半透性である、請求項1〜17のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 隣合うアノードとカソードとの間の分離が0.1mmと20mmとの間である、請求項1〜18のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 少なくとも1つのアノード及び隣合うカソードが、使用中に前記アノードと前記隣合うカソードとの間に電位差及び電流を発生させるように配置された電源によって活性化される、請求項1〜19のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 電極対又は電極群を定める隣合うアノード及びカソードの対を備え、
前記電極対又は電極群は、独立して選択的に電気的に活性化され得る、請求項20に記載の処理装置。 - 前記少なくとも1つのアノード及び前記少なくとも1つのカソードへの電源の極性を反転させて、それぞれのアノードとカソードとの間に反対の電位差及び電流を生じさせることができる、請求項1〜21のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのアノードが、導電性基材及び外側被覆で形成されている、請求項1〜22のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 前記アノードは、白金、金、銀又は混合金属酸化物溶液から選択される貴金属で被覆された基材で形成された寸法安定性アノードである、請求項23に記載の処理装置。
- 前記アノードは、ホウ素ドープ・ダイアモンドで被覆された基材から形成されたホウ素ドープ・ダイアモンド・アノードである、請求項23に記載の処理装置。
- 前記少なくとも1つのカソードが、導電性基材及び随意に外側被覆で形成されている、請求項1〜25のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 1つの電極対又は電極群のためのアノード基材及び/又はカソード基材及び/又は被覆材料は、別の電極対又は電極群のアノード基材及び/又はカソード基材及び/又は被覆材料と同じであるか又は異なるものである、請求項21〜26のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 当該処理装置は、
前記少なくとも1つのアノード及び前記少なくとも1つのカソードの電気的活性化を制御するように構成された制御器と、
当該処理装置内を通って流れる液体の性質を計測するように構成された少なくとも1つの検出器と、
を備え、
前記制御器は、前記検出器から受け取る信号に応答して、アノード及びカソードを別々に制御するように構成されている、請求項1〜27のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。 - 前記検出器は、前記液体の導電率を検出するように構成されている、請求項28に記載の処理装置。
- 前記検出器は、フッ素、ヒドロキシルフリーラジカル、酸素の諸形態、オゾン、過酸化水素、次亜塩素酸塩、塩素及び全残留酸化剤を含む水中又は液体中の酸化剤から選択される化学物質の残留濃度を検出するように構成される、請求項28又は29に記載の処理装置。
- 複数の細長い中空の半透性部材、及びそれに関連付けられる複数のカソード及びアノード対を備える、請求項1〜30のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- アノードと、前記アノードに対して半径方向に且つ同心に配置されたカソードとを備え、前記アノードは半透壁を備えた細長い中空部材の形態である、処理装置。
- 前記アノードの第1の端部は開放され、使用中に液体を受け入れ/排出するように配置され、前記アノードの第2の端部は開放又は閉鎖され、前記アノードに入る液体が前記半透壁及び前記カソードを通って半径方向に流れるように液体を妨げ/受け入れ/排出するようになっている、請求項32に記載の処理装置。
- 単一の細長い中空部材並びに関連付けられたアノード及びカソードを備え、入口及び出口を有する筐体をさらに備え、前記筐体は、液体を、前記入口から、細長い前記中空部材を通し、前記アノード及び前記カソードを通って又はその近くを通って、前記出口に連通させるようになっている、請求項1〜33のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 複数の細長い中空部材並びに関連付けられたアノード及びカソードを備え、入口及び出口を有する筐体をさらに備え、前記筐体は、液体を、前記入口から、複数の細長い中空の前記半透性部材を通って、前記アノード及び前記カソードを通って又はその近くを通って、前記出口に連通させるようになっている、請求項1〜33のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置。
- 前記電気的絶縁スペーサの円周寸法は、前記離散的な半径方向流路内の液体速度及び/又は乱流を増大/減少させるように手動で又は自動的に増大/減少させることができる、請求項11又は12に記載の処理装置。
- 液体を請求項1〜36のいずれか一項に記載の処理装置に通すことによって、液体を処理する方法。
- 本明細書において添付の図面を参照して実質的に説明される処理装置。
