本出願は、「Operator Controlled Electrical Output Signal Device With Variable Feel and Hold Feedback and Automated Calibration and Learnable Performance Optimization」という名称の2013年1月30日付けで出願された米国仮特許出願第61/758,489号の利益を主張するものであり、この特許文献の内容は、引用により、そのすべてが本明細書に包含される。
Claims (19)
- ジョイスティック電子システムであって、
回動組立体に装着され、且つ、回動点を中心として回転するハンドル組立体と、
プラグ及び力検知抵抗器を含む力検知カートリッジであって、前記ハンドル組立体は、前記回動組立体を前記プラグとの接触状態に移動させるべく前記回動点を中心として回転させられ、
前記ハンドル組立体の継続した回転は、前記回動組立体が前記プラグに対してトルクを作用させるようにし、
前記力検知抵抗器は、前記プラグに対して作用した前記トルクを判定する、力検知カートリッジと
電磁力フィードバックシステムであって、前記プラグに対して作用した前記トルクの通知を受け取り、且つ、前記トルクを使用して前記ハンドルシステムを角度変位させるために必要とされるトルクの量を制御する、電磁力フィードバックシステムと、
を有するジョイスティック電子システム。 - 前記力検知カートリッジは、自動的に較正される請求項1に記載のジョイスティック電子システム。
- 前記電磁力フィードバックシステムは、事前警告バンパのユーザーに対する触覚感触を提供する請求項1に記載のジョイスティック電子システム。
- 前記電磁力フィードバックシステムは、複数の角度において増大させられうる作動感触を提供する請求項1に記載のジョイスティック電子システム。
- 前記電磁力フィードバックシステムは、選択された角度において前記ハンドル組立体を保持するべく角度保持を提供する請求項1に記載のジョイスティック電子システム。
- 前記電磁力フィードバックシステムは、より小さな保持角度への摺動戻りフィードバックをも提供する請求項5に記載のジョイスティック電子システム。
- 前記力検知カートリッジが自動的に較正される際に、前記自動化された較正が既定の調節レベルを超過した調節を含む際にサービス予想信号が提供される請求項2に記載のジョイスティック電子システム。
- 学習可能な性能最適化を更に提供する請求項1に記載のジョイスティック電子システム。
- 前記ジョイスティック電子システムは、車両コンピュータとの間において、且つ、生産性、安全性、燃料、雑音、排ガス、又はその他の望ましい基準のうちの少なくとも1つを改善するジョブサイトコンピュータとの間において、通信する請求項1に記載のジョイスティック電子システム。
- ハンドル組立体の角度変位に応じて、前記ハンドル組立体のユーザーに対して複数の触覚感触領域を提供する方法であって、
フリープレイ領域を第1角度変位において提供する工程であって、前記フリープレイ領域は、前記ハンドル組立体を角度的に変位させるために、不感帯領域及び変調領域において必要とされる力より大きい力が、ユーザーによって必要とされる触覚感触を提供する、工程と、
不感帯領域を第2角度変位において提供する工程であって、前記不感帯領域は、いずれの領域のうちで最小量の力が、前記ハンドル組立体を角度的に変位させるために、必要される触覚感触を提供する、工程と、
変調領域を第3角度変位において提供する工程であって、前記変調領域は、前記ユーザーによって印加される力が、前記ハンドル組立体の角度変位との間において実質的に線形の関係にあり、且つ、前記フリープレイ領域内において必要とされる力より大きい触覚感触を提供する、工程と、
ジャンプアップ領域を第4角度変位において提供する工程であって、前記ジャンプアップ領域は、前記変調領域におけるものよりも格段に大きな力が、前記ハンドル組立体の角度変位を生成するために、必要とされる触覚感触を提供する、工程と、
を有する方法。 - 力検知カートリッジを使用して前記ハンドル組立体の角度変位を検知する工程を更に含む請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記力検知カートリッジは、自動的に較正される請求項11に記載の方法。
- 事前警告バンパの触覚感触をユーザーに対して提供する工程を更に有する請求項10に記載の方法。
- 複数の角度において増大させられうる作動感触を提供する工程を更に含む請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記ハンドル組立体を選択された角度において保持するべく角度保持を提供する工程を更に含む請求項10に記載の方法。
- より小さな保持角度への摺動戻りフィードバックを提供する工程を更に含む請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記力検知カートリッジが自動的に較正される際に、前記自動化された較正が既定の調節レベルを上回る調節を含んでいる際にサービス予想信号が提供される請求項12に記載の方法。
- 学習可能な性能最適化を提供する工程を更に含む請求項10に記載の方法。
- 車両コンピュータとの間において、且つ、生産性、安全性、燃料、雑音、排ガス、又はその他の望ましい基準のうちの少なくとも1つを改善するジョブサイトコンピュータとの間において、通信する工程を更に含む請求項10に記載の方法。
