Claims (10)
- タンパク質バランス不安定という危険にさらされている小児において、プラスのタンパク質ネットバランスを回復及び/又は維持する非治療的方法であって、前記方法がタンパク質を含む合成組成物の摂取を含み、前記組成物が小児の体重キログラム当たりタンパク質約0.10〜約0.55グラム、好ましくは約0.20〜約0.35グラムの用量で投与され、前記用量は約0分(0分は除く)〜約60分の持続期間に渡り与えられる少なくとも1回の飲用分として投与される、非治療的方法。
- タンパク質がミルクベースのタンパク質であり、ホエータンパク質及びカゼインタンパク質並びに/又は大豆ベースのタンパク質を含む、好ましくはホエータンパク質及びカゼインタンパク質並びに/又は大豆ベースのタンパク質から成る、請求項1に記載の非治療的方法。
- 飲用の回数が少なくとも2回、好ましくは3回又は4回である、請求項1又は2に記載の非治療的方法。
- 前記組成物が液体として、小児の体重キログラム当たり組成物15〜50mLの体積で投与され、前記組成物が0.075〜10g/100mL、さらに好ましくは0.75〜6g/100mLのタンパク質含量を有する、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の非治療的方法。
- 前記組成物が5〜15歳の小児、好ましくは8〜15歳の小児に特に適している、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の非治療的方法。
- 前記期間の開始点が、朝食時、就寝前、身体運動後、就寝後、好ましくは身体運動後から選択され、第1回飲用が開始点から0〜30分の期間内に成される、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の非治療的方法。
- 前記組成物がカリウムを約0.5mmol/L〜約50mmol/Lの範囲で、ナトリウムを約20mmol/L〜約50mmol/Lの範囲でさらに含む、請求項4に記載の非治療的方法。
- 前記化合物が約200〜約270mOsmのオスモル濃度を有する、請求項7に記載の非治療的方法。
- 前記化合物が約27〜約30kcal/100mLのエネルギー含量を有する、請求項7又は8に記載の非治療的方法。
- 小児においてプラスのタンパク質ネットバランスを回復及び/又は維持するための合成組成物であって、前記組成物がタンパク質を含み、前記組成物が、小児の体重キログラム当たりタンパク質約0.10〜約0.55グラム、好ましくは約0.20〜約0.35グラムの用量で投与され、前記用量は約0分(0分は除く)〜約60分の持続期間に渡り与えられる少なくとも1回の飲用分として投与される、合成組成物。
