Claims (5)
- 電解質混合装置を備えるバッテリであって、
複数の側壁(3,4)、1つのハウジング底(2)及び1つのカバーを有するバッテリハウジング(1)と、
液位(7)が所定の許容限界(7a,7b)内にある液体電解質(6)と、
該液体電解質(6)中に配置されている電極(5)と、
を備え、前記側壁の少なくとも1つ(3)に、該側壁(3)に対して平行に所定の間隔を置いて、流動通路プレート(8)が配置され、前記バッテリハウジング(1)の側壁(3)と前記流動通路プレート(8)との間に流動通路(9)が形成されており、該流動通路(9)の上端は、流出スリット(9a)として形成されており、前記流動通路(9)の下端は、前記バッテリの容積の下3分の1内にあり、
前記電極(5)の上方には、1つの混合槽底(12)及び複数の混合槽側壁(11a,11b,11c)を有する混合槽(10)が配置されており、
前記流出スリット(9a)に隣接する前記混合槽側壁は、上部においてオーバーフローエッジ(13)として形成されており、
前記混合槽底(12)は、前記液体電解質(6)の、運転に関して予め定められた最低液位(7b)の下にあり、
前記混合槽底(12)には、少なくとも1つの底開口(14)が設けられている、
ことを特徴とする、電解質混合装置を備えるバッテリ。 - 前記混合槽(10)の底開口(14)は、前記液体電解質が前記オーバーフローエッジ(13)を越えてオーバーフローしたときに前記混合槽の底に向かって流れ着く箇所に設けられている、請求項1記載のバッテリ。
- 前記混合槽の混合槽側壁のうちの、内側に位置する側壁(11c)に、開口が設けられている、請求項2記載のバッテリ。
- 第1の前記混合槽(10)の混合槽側壁のうちの、内側に位置する側壁(11c)に接続している、第2の混合槽としての混合槽(15)が設けられており、該第2の混合槽の底(18)が、少なくとも1つの底開口(16,19)を有している、請求項1記載のバッテリ。
- 前記第2の混合槽(15)の底(18)は、酸(6)の最高液位(7a)の高さに配置されている、請求項4記載のバッテリ。
