Abstract
【解決手段】渦巻ポンプは、翼2を有する羽根車1と、羽根車1を収容する羽根車ケーシング5とを備える。羽根車ケーシング5は、ボリュート室7と、ボリュート室7に連通する吸込口3および吐出口4と、ボリュート室7の巻き始め部を構成する舌部10とを備える。羽根車ケーシング5の内面には、吸込口3からボリュート室7まで延びる溝18が形成されている。羽根車1の軸方向から見て翼2の終端が溝18を横切る交点Bは、羽根車1の中心点に関して舌部10の反対側に位置する。

本発明の好ましい態様は、前記基準線と、前記線分とのなす角度は、135度から225度の範囲内であることを特徴とする。
本発明の好ましい態様は、前記交点は前記基準線の延長線上に位置していることを特徴とする。
図1は本発明の一実施形態に係る渦巻ポンプの概略断面図である。図1に示される渦巻ポンプは、例えば、下水管を流れる汚水などの液体を移送するために用いられる。図1に示すように、渦巻ポンプは、回転軸11の端部に固定された羽根車1と、羽根車1を収容する羽根車ケーシング5とを有する。回転軸11は、モータ20によって回転され、羽根車1は羽根車ケーシング5内で回転軸11と一体に回転する。モータ20と羽根車1との間には、メカニカルシール21が配置されている。このメカニカルシール21により、液体がモータ20に浸入することが防止される。

Claims (4)
- 翼を有する羽根車と、
前記羽根車を収容する羽根車ケーシングとを備え、
前記羽根車ケーシングは、ボリュート室と、前記ボリュート室に連通する吸込口および吐出口と、前記ボリュート室の巻き始め部を構成する舌部とを備え、
前記羽根車ケーシングの内面には、前記吸込口から前記ボリュート室まで延びる溝が形成されており、
前記羽根車の軸方向から見て前記翼の終端が前記溝を横切る交点は、前記羽根車の中心点に関して前記舌部の反対側に位置することを特徴とする渦巻ポンプ。 - 前記羽根車の中心点と前記舌部とを結ぶ基準線と、前記羽根車の中心点と前記交点とを結ぶ線分とのなす角度は、90度から270度の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の渦巻ポンプ。
- 前記基準線と、前記線分とのなす角度は、135度から225度の範囲内であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の渦巻ポンプ。
- 前記交点は前記基準線の延長線上に位置していることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の渦巻ポンプ。
