Abstract
Description
前記凸部は、後方に向かうほど前記芯線側に近づくテーパ状の圧縮面と、この圧縮面の後端に設けられ、前記平坦部に対して前記圧縮面よりも垂直に近い角度で前記平坦部に連なる垂直面とを有している構成としてよい。
このような構成によると、電線が後方に引っ張られた際に、絶縁被覆がテーパ状の圧縮面に沿って摺動しやすくなり、絶縁被覆を円滑に圧縮することができる。また、圧縮面によって絶縁被覆を圧縮する際に、絶縁被覆からの反力を垂直面で受けることができるため、凸部が変形することを回避できる。
このような構成によると、凸部によって絶縁被覆を広範囲に連続して圧縮することができる。
実施形態を図1から図6の図面を参照しながら説明する。本実施形態の端子付き電線10は、図1に示すように、端子20と、電線30とを備えて構成されている。電線30は、導電性の金属素線を撚り合わせた芯線31と、この芯線31を覆う絶縁樹脂製の絶縁被覆32とからなる。電線30の前端部において絶縁被覆32が皮剥ぎされることで芯線31が露出し、この芯線31に端子20が圧着されることで電線30と端子20が導通可能に接続されている。こうして、電線30は、端子20から後方に引き出されている。
このような構成によると、電線30が後方に引っ張られた際に、絶縁被覆32がテーパ状の圧縮面56に沿って摺動しやすくなり、絶縁被覆32を円滑に圧縮することができる。また、圧縮面56によって絶縁被覆32を圧縮する際に、絶縁被覆32からの反力を垂直面57で受けることができるため、凸部52が変形することを回避できる。
このような構成によると、凸部52によって絶縁被覆32を広範囲に連続して圧縮することができる。
本明細書によって開示される技術は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような種々の態様も含まれる。
(1)上記実施形態では被覆圧着部50を叩き出すことによって凸部52を形成しているものの、叩き出し以外の加工方法(例えば切り起こしなど)で凸部を形成してもよいし、平坦部とは別部品の凸部を平坦部に対して別工程で組み付けるようにしてもよい。

Claims (4)
- 芯線が絶縁被覆で覆われた電線が後方に引き出される形態で前記電線に圧着される端子であって、
前記芯線に圧着される芯線圧着部と、
前記絶縁被覆に圧着される端子とを備え、
前記絶縁被覆に圧着された状態における前記被覆圧着部は、前記電線の引き出し方向に平坦に延びる平坦部と、この平坦部よりも前記芯線側に突出する形態をなし、その突出量が後方に向かうほど大きくなる凸部とを有する端子。 - 芯線が絶縁被覆で覆われた電線と、この電線に圧着される端子とを備えて構成された端子付き電線であって、
前記電線は、前記端子から後方に引き出されており、
前記端子は、前記芯線に圧着される芯線圧着部と、前記絶縁被覆に圧着される被覆圧着部とを備え、
前記絶縁被覆に圧着された状態における前記被覆圧着部は、前記電線の引き出し方向に平坦に延びる平坦部と、この平坦部よりも前記芯線側に突出する形態をなし、その突出量が後方に向かうほど大きくなる凸部とを有する端子付き電線。 - 請求項1に記載の端子または請求項2に記載の端子付き電線において、
前記凸部は、後方に向かうほど前記芯線側に近づくテーパ状の圧縮面と、この圧縮面の後端に設けられ、前記平坦部に対して前記圧縮面よりも垂直に近い角度で前記平坦部に連なる垂直面とを有している。 - 請求項1、3に記載の端子または請求項2、3に記載の端子付き電線において、
前記被覆圧着部は、底壁と、この底壁の両側縁から突出して設けられた一対の被覆圧着片とからなり、前記凸部は、一方の前記被覆圧着片から前記底壁を横切って他方の前記被覆圧着片に至る領域にて単一のリブ状に形成されている。
