Description
図1を参照して説明した上記色変換パネルにおいて、一方向に向かって位置する構成要素は他の構成要素の「上に」位置することを示す。
しかし、図12及び図13の複数の色変換媒介層330R、330G、330W及び散乱層340R、340G、340Wは、基板310と表示パネル10との間に位置する。即ち、図12及び図13による色変換パネルの構成要素が他の構成要素の上に位置することは、図1とは異なる一方向に向かって位置することを意味する。

Claims (10)
- 表示パネル、および
前記表示パネルの上に位置する色変換パネルを含み、
前記色変換パネルは、
色変換媒介層、および
散乱体と前記散乱体に吸着された顔料および染料のうちの少なくとも一つを含む散乱層を含む液晶表示装置。 - 前記色変換媒介層は、蛍光体および量子ドットのうちの少なくともいずれか一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記色変換媒介層は感光性樹脂を含み、
前記蛍光体および前記量子ドットのうちの少なくともいずれか一つは前記感光性樹脂に分散していることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記散乱体は、TiO2、ZrO2、Al2O3、In2O3、ZnO、SnO2、Sb2O3およびITOのうちの少なくともいずれか一つを含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記散乱層の密度は、前記色変換媒介層の密度より大きいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記散乱層の屈折率は、約1.5以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記色変換媒介層は、赤色色変換媒介層、緑色色変換媒介層および透明層を含み、
前記液晶表示装置は、隣接した前記赤色色変換媒介層、前記緑色色変換媒介層および前記透明層の間に位置する遮光部材をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の液晶表示装置。 - 前記透明層は前記蛍光体および前記量子ドットを含まず、前記透明層の上に位置する前記散乱層は前記染料および前記顔料を含まないことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記染料および前記顔料は青色光を吸収することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記表示パネルおよび前記色変換パネルに光を供給するライトアセンブリをさらに含み、前記ライトアセンブリは発光ダイオードであり、前記発光ダイオードは紫外線または青色光のように特定波長帯域を放出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
