Abstract
Description
本実施形態に係る電波式水位計Aは、多周波CW方式に基づいて送信波を水面上の観測地点Gに向けて放射し、該送信波の反射波の受信結果に基づいて観測地点Gの水位及び流速を計測する。例えば、電波式水位計Aは、図1に示すように、河川に架かると共に土手に固定される橋の欄干等に設置される。つまり、電波式水位計Aは、観測地点Gが存在する河川の水面より橋の高さに土手の高さを加えた高さ分だけ高い位置に設置される。
電波式水位計Aでは、演算制御部13が演算制御プログラムに基づいて雲台11を制御することで、アンテナ1の方向を所望の方向に設定する。例えば、演算制御部13は、予め規定された河川上の複数の観測地点Gを計測できるように、演算制御プログラムに基づいて雲台11を制御する。すなわち、雲台11は、演算制御部13から入力される制御指令に基づいて動作することにより、送信波が各観測地点Gに所定の順番で順次放射されるようにアンテナ1の方向を順次設定する。そして、演算制御部13は、各々の観測地点Gにおけるビート信号を取り込むことにより、各々の観測地点Gにおける水位及び流速を演算する。

(1)本実施形態では、多周波CW方式に基づいて水位L及び流速Vを算出したが、多周波CW方式ではなく、例えば、FM−CW方式に基づいて水位L及び流速Vを算出するようにしてもよい。また、多周波CW方式として、3つの周波数に限定されず、2つ、あるいは4つ以上の周波数を使用するようにしてもよい。
Claims (3)
- 水面上の観測地点に送信波を放射して反射波を受信するアンテナと、
前記アンテナによる前記送信波の放射方向を可変する方向可変部と、
前記アンテナによる受信結果に基づいて前記観測地点の水位を算出する演算手段とを具備することを特徴とする電波式水位計。 - 前記演算手段は、前記アンテナによる受信結果に基づいて前記水位に加えて、前記観測地点の流速を算出することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電波式水位計。
- 前記アンテナは、多周波CW方式に基づく送信波を前記観測地点に放射することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の電波式水位計。
