Abstract
Description
まず、相手側ハウジング30の構成について説明する。相手側ハウジング30は、図1に示すように、筒状の小フード部31を備えている。小フード部31の内部には、詳細には図示しないが、雄端子金具が配置されている。小フード部31は、互いに対向して配された一対の対向壁部32を有しており、一対の対向壁部32のそれぞれには、台座部33とカムフォロア34とが1つずつ配置されている。なお、紙面の都合上、図1〜図6では、一対の対向壁部32のうち一方のみを図示している。台座部33は、各対向壁部32から外側に向かって突出する突出部である。カムフォロア34は、各台座部33から外側に向かって突出する円柱状の部分である。
次に、レバー式コネクタ1の構成について説明する。
次に、レバー20を初期位置から正規嵌合位置まで回動させて、ハウジング10を相手側ハウジング30と嵌合させる操作について説明する。
上記したように、レバー式コネクタ1の小型化を目的として、カム板部21は、初期位置に配置された状態で、ハウジング10の開口縁13Eよりも引っ込んで(奥壁部12に近接して)配置されている。言い換えると、カム板部21の第1辺21S1と第2辺21S2との距離が従来よりも短くなり、第1辺21S1および第2辺21S2に垂直な方向について、カム板部21が小型化している。このため、カム板部21が小型化した分だけ押し戻し片27が短尺化し、弾性復元力が弱くなることによって半嵌合検知力が低下することが懸念される。
本明細書で開示される技術は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような種々の態様も含まれる。
(1)上記実施形態では、レバー20は、一対のカム板部21と、これら一対のカム板部21を連結する連結部26とを備えた部材であったが、レバーは、カム板部を1つだけ備えた部材であっても構わない。

Claims (3)
- カムフォロアを有する相手側ハウジングと嵌合するレバー式コネクタであって、
コネクタハウジングと、
前記カムフォロアを受け入れるカム溝を有するカム板部を備え、前記カム板部への前記カムフォロアの進入を許容する初期位置から正規嵌合位置まで前記カム板部を回動させるのに伴って前記カム溝と前記カムフォロアとのカム作用によって前記相手側ハウジングを前記コネクタハウジングに対して相対的に引き寄せるレバーとを備え、
前記レバーが、前記カム板部から延出された押し戻し部を備えるとともに、前記コネクタハウジングにおいて前記相手側ハウジングと対向する端縁よりも引っ込んで配置され、
前記コネクタハウジングが、前記レバーが前記正規嵌合位置にあるときに前記押し戻し部に当接することで前記レバーを前記正規嵌合位置から初期位置へ向かって付勢する押し戻し片受け部を備え、
前記レバーの回動中心と前記押し戻し部において前記カム板部に接続している一端部とを結ぶ線と前記押し戻し部とで作られる角部の角度が90°より大きい、レバー式コネクタ。 - 前記押し戻し部が、前記カム板部から連なる本体部と、前記本体部の延出端から連なり、前記本体部に対して角度をなして延びるフック部とを備え、前記本体部が、前記一端部から前記延出端に向かうにつれて細くなる先細り形状となっている、請求項1に記載のレバー式コネクタ。
- 前記フック部が、全長にわたって同じ太さとなっている、請求項2に記載のレバー式コネクタ。
