Abstract
Description
上記構成によれば、前記フランジを介して前記カバーの接合面にレーザが照射されることで、確実にカバーの接合面をフランジに溶着することができる。
上記構成によれば、前記ハウジングと前記カバーとの接合面が超音波溶着できない湾曲部を有する複雑な形状であるときにも、レーザ溶着で一体化することができる。
図1及び図2に示すように、発光装置1は、フロントグリルやフロントグリルの横に配設されるグリルアウタ等の装飾部品に設けられる。この発光装置1は、発光体2と、発光体2が配設されるハウジング11と、ハウジング11に取り付けられ、車体の外装の一部を構成するカバー21とを備えている。
(1)特定波長のレーザLは、ハウジング11のフランジ13に向けて照射され、特定波長のレーザLが加飾層24に直接照射されることはない。結果として、加飾層24の光学的な特性が劣化することが抑えられる。また、特定波長のレーザLを加飾層24に直接照射されることに比べて、発光装置の意匠性を高めることができる。
Claims (5)
- 開口部を有し、内部に発光体が配設されたハウジングと、
前記ハウジングの開口部を閉塞するカバーとを備え、
前記ハウジングと前記カバーとの各々は、樹脂成形体であり、
前記ハウジングと前記カバーとの界面であって前記ハウジングと前記カバーとがレーザによって溶着される部分には、前記ハウジング、及び、前記カバーよりも前記レーザの吸収率が高いレーザ吸収部が設けられ、
前記ハウジングにおいて前記レーザ吸収部と対向する部分は、前記レーザを透過するレーザ透過性を有し、
前記ハウジングと前記カバーとは、前記開口部の周囲に、全周に亘って連続して溶着され結合されている
ことを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記ハウジングは、前記発光体の光に対する遮光性を有し、
前記カバーは、前記発光体の光に対する透過性を有し、
前記カバーの外側の面には、前記発光体の光に対して透過性を有した加飾層が形成されている
請求項1に記載の発光装置。 - 前記加飾層は、ハーフミラーである
請求項2に記載の発光装置。 - 前記ハウジングにおいて前記レーザ透過性を有する部分は、前記開口部の周囲に設けられたフランジであり、
前記カバーと前記フランジとがレーザ溶着されている
請求項1〜請求項3のうち何れか1項に記載の発光装置。 - 前記ハウジングにおいて前記カバーが溶着される部分は、湾曲部を含んでいる
請求項1〜請求項4のうち何れか1項に記載の発光装置。
