シールド機のカッター面版上、あるいは前記シールド機のチャンバー内に前記起泡材を発泡して得られた気泡を送り込んだ後、前記チャンバーから前記シールド機内に取り込まれた掘削土に前記不溶化材を加えることを特徴とする気泡シールド工法。 - 前記起泡材は、下記一般式(3)または(4)で示される助剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の気泡シールド工法。

(上記各式において、R3は、炭素数1〜4の炭化水素基である。R4は、水素原子または炭素数1〜4の炭化水素基である。AOは、炭素数2〜4のオキシアルキレン基の1種または2種以上の混合物である。pは、AOの平均付加モル数であって1〜5である。qは、AOの平均付加モル数であって2〜40である。) - 前記不溶化材は、金属キレート能を持つキレート物質を含んだキレート剤を含むことを特徴とする請求項1〜3の何れか1項に記載の気泡シールド工法。
