Abstract
【解決手段】片端封止型筒状セラミックス10によれば、多孔質セラミック基材16の円筒部12の片側の開口に固着されて開口を封止し、円筒部12に対して表面構造が異なる破断面を有する突起20が形成された封止部14の外側表面に緻密なガラス層18が形成されている。このため、片端封止型筒状セラミックス10の表面に欠陥のない均一な分離膜を形成することが可能となり、局部的な分離膜のリークなどの発生による分離膜フィルターの著しい分離性能の劣化を抑制することが可能となる。

Claims (10)
- 筒部と、該筒部の片側の開口に固着されて該開口を封止し、該筒部に対して表面構造または細孔構造が異なる部分を有する封止部とを備える多孔質セラミック基材と、
前記封止部の表面に形成された緻密層と、
から構成されることを特徴とする片端封止型筒状セラミックス。 - 前記多孔質セラミック基材が、多層構造であることを特徴とする請求項1の片端封止型筒状セラミックス。
- 前記多孔質セラミック基材が、アルミナ、ジルコニア、ムライト、シリカ、チタニア、窒化珪素、炭化珪素を主成分として形成されることを特徴とする請求項1または2の片端封止型筒状セラミックス。
- 前記緻密層が、ガラスを主成分とする請求項1ないし3のいずれか1の片端封止型筒状セラミックス。
- 前記多孔質セラミック基材の熱膨張係数と前記ガラスを主成分とする前記緻密層の熱膨張係数との差が、2×10−6/K未満であることを特徴とする請求項4の片端封止型筒状セラミックス。
- 前記ガラスの組成が、SiO2、Al2O3、TiO2、ZrO2、ZnO、B2O3、Bi2O3、アルカリ金属、アルカリ土類金属を主成分とする請求項4または5の片端封止型筒状セラミックス。
- 前記多孔質セラミック基材の前記筒部と前記封止部とが押出成形によって一体成形されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1の片端封止型筒状セラミックス。
- 前記多孔質セラミック基材の前記筒部と前記封止部とが、内筒および外筒を設けた多重管の該内筒内部および該内筒と該外筒との間に、異なる性質のセラミックス成形原料を各別に供給して押出して、合流させることで一体成形されたセラミック多層構造体を得る押出成形によって一体成形されることを特徴とする請求項1ないし6のいずれか1の片端封止型筒状セラミックス。
- 前記多孔質セラミック基材の開口の表面に前記緻密層を形成することを特徴とする請求項1ないし8のいずれか1の片端封止型筒状セラミックス。
- 前記多孔質セラミック基材の封止部の反対側の端部に筒形状のセラミック緻密体を接合することを特徴とする請求項1ないし9のいずれか1の片端封止型筒状セラミックス。
