Abstract
Description
なお、特許文献2には作用極への外部進入由来物の付着による感度低下を回復させるため、作用極に測定時の電解電流を増加させる極性の電位を印加することが記載されているが、作用極を構成する金属の酸化に由来する本発明に適用した場合には作用極の金属の酸化が進行して検出感度が一層低下することになる。
定電位電解式ガスセンサー1は、電解液2を収容したセル3に窓4、5を設け、一方の
窓4をこの実施例では白金と炭素との同時スパッタリングにより形成した作用極6を形成した通気性隔膜により、また他方の窓5を対極7と参照極8とが形成された通気性隔膜により封止されている。
酸化が進行する電気化学式ガスセンサに適用しても感度回復できることは明らかである。
Claims (2)
- 電気化学式ガスセンサの作用極に印加する電位を検出動作時よりも間歇的に卑電位側に変化させて感度回復を行うことを特徴とするガス検出器。
- 前記作用極が複数の領域に分割され、1つの領域が検出動作を、他の領域が検出動作時よりも卑電位に保持される感度回復動作を交互に繰り返すことを特徴とするガス検出器。
