Abstract

Claims (19)
- 金属コア材料を準備するステップと、
第1の溶媒と有機バインダとの混合物に前記金属コア材料を分散するステップと、
高屈折率材料を前記金属コア材料上に堆積するステップと、
前記堆積された高屈折率材料及び金属コア材料を乾燥するステップと、
を備え、
前記高屈折率層は均質で亀裂無しである、
多層顔料を形成する方法。 - 前記高屈折率層はTiO2を含む、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記金属コアはSiO2で被覆されたAlである、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記高屈折率層は50〜200nmの厚みを有する、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記高屈折率層は120nmを超える厚みを有する、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記第1の溶媒はエタノールである、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記有機バインダはアニオン性、カチオン性、両性イオン性及び非イオン性のバインダから成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記有機バインダは、ラウリル硫酸アンモニウム、ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム、ドデシル硫酸ナトリウム(SDS)、ラウリルエーテル硫酸ナトリウム(SLES)、ラウロイルサルコシンナトリウムセチルトリメチルアンモニウムブロミド(CTAB)、ヘキサデシルトリメチルアンモニウムブロミド、セチルトリメチルアンモニウムクロライド(CTAC)、コカミドプロピルベタイン、ポリエチレングリコール;ポリオキシプロピレングリコールアルキルエーテル;ポリオキシエチレングリコール、アルキルフェノールエーテル(Triton X−100);ポリオキシエチレングリコールソルビタンアルキルエステル;ポリエチレングリコールとポリプロピレングリコールのブロック共重合体;グリセリンアルキルエステル;及び、グルコシドアルキルエステルから成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記高屈折率前駆体はテトラエトキシチタン(TEOT)を含む、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記堆積するステップは、高屈折率材料前駆体を第2の溶媒に溶かし、前記溶けた金属前駆体と水とを前記第1の溶媒と有機バインダとの混合物に分散された前記コア材料に添加することを含む、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記第2の溶媒はエタノールを含む、請求項10に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記有機バインダを除去する乾燥ステップの後で、前記材料を焼結するステップを更に備える、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記焼結ステップは、所定時間、400℃以下の温度である、請求項12に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記堆積ステップは、前記金属コア材料を洗浄し、濾過するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 前記有機バインダは、前記コア金属粒子及び第1の溶媒に対して重量で0.5%から10%までの量で存在する、請求項1に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- 金属コアと、
水・有機二相法によって前記金属コアに付着され前記金属コアを囲む高屈折率層と、前記高屈折率層は120nmを超える厚みを有し、前記高屈折率層は均質で亀裂無しである、
を備える、
多層顔料。 - 前記高屈折率層はTiO2を含む、請求項16に記載の多層顔料。
- 前記金属コアはSiO2で被覆されたAlである、請求項16に記載の多層顔料を形成する方法。
- Al−SiO2コアと、
水・有機二相法によって前記Al−SiO2コアに付着され前記Al−SiO2コアを囲むTiO2層と、前記TiO2層は120nmを超える厚みを有し、前記TiO2層は均質で亀裂無しである、
を備える、
