Abstract
【解決手段】本発明の車両制御装置は、車両と車両外部の物体との衝突を検出後であって、衝突後に車両を自動的に制動させる衝突後ブレーキ制御を実施する前に、車両における車両外部の物体の衝突方向及び衝突位置に基づいて、当該衝突後ブレーキ制御が実施された場合に車両に対してヨーが発生する度合であるヨー発生可能性を予測し、予測されたヨー発生可能性が高い場合には、当該ヨー発生可能性が低い場合と比較して、衝突後ブレーキ制御を実施することを抑制する。

Description
図2は、実施形態に係る車両制御装置を表す概略構成図である。図3は、実施形態に係る車両における車両外部の物体の衝突方向及び衝突位置の一例を示す図である。図4は、実施形態に係る衝突後ブレーキ制御によりヨーが発生しやすい衝突方向及び衝突位置の組み合わせの一覧を示す表である。図5及び図6は、実施形態に係る車両制御装置において実行される衝突後ブレーキ制御抑制処理の一例を示すフローチャートである。図7及び図8は、実施形態に係る車両制御装置において実行される衝突後ブレーキ制御抑制処理の別の一例を示すフローチャートである。

Claims (4)
- 車両が車両外部の物体に衝突したことを検出する衝突検出手段と、
前記衝突検出手段が衝突を検出した場合に、前記車両を自動的に制動させる衝突後ブレーキ制御を実施する制動制御手段と、
前記衝突検出手段により衝突を検出後であって、前記制動制御手段によって前記衝突後ブレーキ制御を実施する前に、前記車両における前記物体の衝突方向及び衝突位置に基づいて、当該衝突後ブレーキ制御が実施された場合に前記車両に対してヨーが発生する度合であるヨー発生可能性を予測する予測手段と、
を備え、
前記制動制御手段は、
前記予測手段により予測された前記ヨー発生可能性が高い場合には、当該ヨー発生可能性が低い場合と比較して、前記衝突後ブレーキ制御を実施することを抑制することを特徴とする車両制御装置。 - 前記予測手段は、
前記車両における前記物体の衝突方向及び衝突位置の組み合わせから、制動が効かなくなる可能性のある故障車輪を予測し、予測した故障車輪の位置に応じて、前記ヨー発生可能性の有無を予測することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両制御装置。 - 前記制動制御手段は、
前記予測手段により予測された前記ヨー発生可能性が無い場合には、前記衝突後ブレーキ制御を実施し、前記予測手段により予測された前記ヨー発生可能性が有る場合には、前記衝突後ブレーキ制御を実施せずに禁止することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の車両制御装置。 - 前記制動制御手段は、
前記予測手段により予測された前記ヨー発生可能性が無い場合には、前記衝突後ブレーキ制御を実施し、前記予測手段により予測された前記ヨー発生可能性が有る場合には、前記衝突後ブレーキ制御により発生する制動力よりも小さい制動力を発生させて前記車両を自動的に制動させるヨー抑制ブレーキ制御を実施する請求項2に記載の車両制御装置。
