Claims (35)
- セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービン部品の表面を改修して、6ミクロン未満の表面粗さの改修表面を製作するプロセスを含む、セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービン部品を製作するプロセスであって、
前記改修は、前記表面に補強されていないマトリックスプライを施工する、前記表面にケイ素を蒸着する、前記表面をホーニング仕上げする、前記表面にろう付けペースを施工する、又はこれらを組み合わせたものからなる手法のグループから選択されることを特徴とするプロセス。 - 前記表面は、前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービン部品の高温ガス経路に沿ってシールスロット内に位置決めされる、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記表面の改修は、前記シールスロットの漏洩を低減する、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記シールスロット内にシールを位置決めするプロセスをさらに含む、請求項2に記載のプロセス。
- 前記改修表面は、前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービン部品のマトリックス内の遊離ケイ素と前記シールの金属との間の反応を阻止する、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記シールは、セラミックマトリックス複合材料を含む、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記シールは、ニッケル基合金を含む、請求項4に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ニッケル基合金は、約0.015重量%のホウ素、約0.05重量%から約 0.15重量%の炭素、約20重量%から約24重量%のクロム、約3重量%の鉄、約0.02重量%から約0.12重量%のランタン、約1.25重量%のマンガン、約20重量%から約24重量%のニッケル、約0.2重量%から約0.5重量%のケイ素、約13重量%から約15重量%のタングステン、及び残部コバルトの組成物を有する、請求項7に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ニッケル基合金は、約19重量%から約21重量%の間のクロム、約15重量%のタングステン、約9重量%から約11重量%の間のニッケル、約3重量%の鉄、約1重量%から約2重量%の間のマンガン、約0.40重量%のケイ素、約0.030重量%の硫黄、及び残部コバルトの組成物を有する、請求項7に記載のプロセス。
- 前記表面は、前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービン部品のダンパーピン用ダンパーキャビティ表面、セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービンの回転翼形部のダブテール取付け面、及び前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービンの非回転翼形部のダブテール取付け面からなるグループから選択される、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記改修は、前記表面の前記ホーニング仕上げを含み、前記表面のホーニング仕上げは、研磨材料を使用して前記表面を機械加工することをさらに含む、請求項10に記載のプロセス。
- 前記改修は、前記表面のホーニング仕上げを含み、前記表面のホーニング仕上げは、非研磨材料を使用して前記表面を機械加工することをさらに含む、請求項10に記載のプロセス。
- 前記非研磨材料を使用して表面を機械加工することは、前記表面の裂け目に材料を堆積させることをさらに含む、請求項12に記載のプロセス。
- 前記裂け目は、補強されていないマトリックスプライ及び繊維強化プライからなるグループから選択されるプライによって形成される、請求項13に記載のプロセス。
- 前記表面の裂け目に材料を堆積させることは、前記表面の摩擦係数を低減させる、請求項13に記載のプロセス。
- 前記表面粗さは、3ミクロン未満である、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記表面粗さは、1ミクロンから2ミクロンの間である、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記プロセスは、製造プロセスである、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記プロセスは、修理プロセスである、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記改修表面は、実質的に繊維を欠いている、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 前記改修表面は、約0.015重量%のホウ素、約0.05重量%から約0.15重量%の炭素、約20重量%から約24重量%のクロム、約3重量%の鉄、約0.02重量%から約0.12重量%のランタン、約1.25重量%のマンガン、約20重量%から約24重量%のニッケル、約0.2重量%から約0.5重量%のケイ素、約13重量%から約15重量%のタングステン、及び残部コバルトの組成物を有する堆積材料を含む、請求項1に記載のプロセス。
- 請求項1に記載の方法で製作され、前記改修表面を有する、セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービン部品。
- セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービン部品を製作するプロセスであって、
前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービン部品の高温ガス経路に沿ってシールスロット内に配置された表面を改修して、3ミクロン未満の表面粗さを有する改修表面を製作するプロセスと、
シールを前記シールスロット内に配置するプロセスと、
を含み。
前記改修表面は、実質的に繊維を欠いており、
前記改修は、前記表面に補強されていないマトリックスプライを施工する、前記表面にケイ素を蒸着する、前記表面をホーニング仕上げする、前記表面にろう付けペースを施工する、又はこれらを組み合わせたものからなる手法のグループから選択される、
ことを特徴とするプロセス。 - 6ミクロン未満の表面粗さを有する改修表面を含む、セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービン部品であって、
前記改修表面は、前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料ガスタービン部品の表面に施工された補強されていないマトリックスプライ、前記表面に蒸着されたケイ素、ホーニング仕上げ表面、前記表面に施工されたろう付けペースト、及びこれらを組み合わせたものから成るグループから選択される、ガスタービン部品 - セラミックマトリックス複合材料表面をホーニング仕上げするプロセスであって、
非研磨材料を準備するプロセスと、
前記非研磨材料を前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料表面に隣接して配置するプロセスと、
前記非研磨材料の少なくとも一部を、少なくとも約300のホーニング仕上げサイクルを実行することで前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料表面の裂け目に堆積させるプロセスと、
を含み、前記ホーニング仕上げサイクルの各々は、非研磨材料又はセラミックマトリックス複合材料表面の少なくとも一方を他方に対して移動させることを含む、ことを特徴とするプロセス。 - 約500から約10,000のホーニング仕上げサイクルを実行するプロセスをさらに含む、請求項25に記載のプロセス。
- 前記非研磨材料の堆積は、前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料表面の摩擦係数を低減する、請求項25に記載のプロセス。
- 前記非研磨材料の堆積は、前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料の表面粗さを小さくする、請求項25に記載のプロセス。
- 前記非研磨材料の堆積は、前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料表面のコンプライアンスを高くする、請求項25に記載のプロセス。
- 華氏約450度から1200度の間のホーニング仕上げ温度を提供するプロセスをさらに含む、請求項25に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ホーニング仕上げ温度が高くなると、少ない数の前記ホーニング仕上げサイクルで前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料表面の摩擦係数が低減する、請求項30に記載のプロセス。
- 約40,000psiから約80,000psiの間のホーニング接触圧を提供するプロセスをさらに含む、請求項25に記載のプロセス。
- 前記ホーニング接触圧が高くなると、少ない数の前記ホーニング仕上げサイクルで前記セラミックマトリックス複合材料表面の摩擦係数が低減する、請求項32記載のプロセス。
- 前記ホーニング仕上げサイクルの各々は、約0.0005インチから0.040インチの間のホーニング仕上げ変位を含む、請求項25に記載のプロセス。
- 前記非研磨材料は、ニッケル基合金を含む、請求項25に記載のプロセス。
