Abstract
Description
この式において、
− Rthは、全熱抵抗(表1において与えられている)であり、
− Rth,coverは、前記カバー材料の熱抵抗である。このことは、当該材料の選択に依存する。一般的に使用される通常のプラスチック(NP)の場合、前記カバーによる熱抵抗は、約2K/Wであり、熱プラスチック(TP)の場合、0.5K/Wである。
− Rth,air,gapは、前記キャリアと前記カバーとの間の熱抵抗である。0.15mmの空隙の場合、この抵抗は約1K/Wであり、空隙がない場合、当該抵抗は0K/Wであることが知られている。これらのモデル算出のために、これは0.5K/Wとして固定する。
− hは、平均熱伝達係数であって、典型的には、対流及び放射の場合に12W/m2/Kである。

Claims (23)
- 照明装置であって、
固体状態光源と、
前記固体状態光源が、前記固体状態光源により生成される熱量がキャリアに伝達されるように配されている前記キャリアと、
前記キャリア上に位置決めされているカバー部材であって、これにより前記固体状態光源は、熱インターフェースが前記キャリアと前記カバー部材との間に存在するように前記キャリアと前記カバー部材の光透過部との間に配されている、カバー部材と、
を有する照明装置であって、
前記熱インターフェースが、前記固体状態光源から前記キャリアへ伝達される熱の大部分を自身を介して伝達するように配されている、
照明装置。 - 前記キャリアが、第1の熱伝導率を有する熱伝導性材料と、第2の熱伝導率を有するカバー部材とを有しており、前記第1の熱伝導率は前記第2の熱伝導率より大きい、請求項1に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第1の熱伝導率は100―300W/mKの範囲に、好ましくは160W/mKと240W/mKとの間にあり、前記第2の熱伝導率は0.2―10W/mKの範囲に、好ましくは0.5W/mKと及び5W/mKとの間にある、請求項2に記載の照明装置。
- 前記熱伝導性材料は、前記キャリア上の熱伝導層として配されている、請求項2又は3に記載の照明装置。
- 前記熱伝導層は、前記固体状態光源に電気的に接続されている、請求項4に記載の照明装置。
- 熱インターフェース材料(TIM)は、前記カバー部材と前記キャリアとの間の空間を充填するように配されている、請求項1乃至5の何れか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記照明装置をソケットに機械的に及び電気的に接続するための前記キャリアに対して固定された位置を有する接続部材を更に有する、請求項1乃至6の何れか一項に記載の照明装置であって、
前記キャリアは、自身のエッジ側と比較して比較的大きい前側を有し、
前記固体状態光源は、前記キャリアの前記前側に配され、
前記カバー部材は、前記照明装置の外側の一部である外面を有すると共に、前記外面の反対側にあると共に前記キャリアの前記前側と熱的に接触している内面を有し、この結果、前記熱インターフェースが形成されている、
照明装置。 - 前記前側の反対側にある前記キャリアの後ろ側に配されている第2の固体状態光源と、
前記キャリア上に配されている第2のカバー部材であって、これにより前記第2の光源は、前記キャリアと前記第2のカバー部材の光透過部との間に配され、この結果、熱インターフェースが前記キャリアと前記第2のカバー部材との間に存在する、第2のカバー部材を更に有する請求項7に記載の照明装置であって、
前記第2のカバー部材は、前記照明装置の前記外側の第2の部分である第2の外面を有すると共に、前記第2の外面に対向していると共に前記キャリアの前記後ろ側と熱的に接触している第2の内面を有し、この結果、前記第2の熱インターフェースが形成されている、
照明装置。 - 前記照明装置は前記接続部材を通過する長手方向の軸を有し、前記キャリアは前記長手方向の軸と平行に配される、請求項7又は8に記載の照明装置。
- 前記カバー部材及び前記第2のカバー部材は、互いに取り付けられると共に前記キャリアを封入している、請求項8に記載の照明装置。
- 前記キャリアの前記前側の少なくとも50%、好ましくは90%は、前記カバー部材の前記内面と熱的に接触している、請求項7乃至10の何れか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記キャリアは、基板、プリント回路基板、又はPCBコアと銅層とを備えているアルミニウム・スプレッダである、請求項1乃至11の何れか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記カバー部材は、前記カバー部材に対して前記キャリアを位置合わせするために前記キャリアの開口部を通って延在する突起を有する、請求項1乃至12の何れか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記長手方向の軸に対して平行に位置決めされている第2の前側及び後ろ側を備えると共に前記第2の前側に配されている少なくとも1つの付加的な固体状態光源を有する第2のキャリアを更に有する、請求項1乃至13の何れか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第2のキャリアが前記キャリアと平行に配されている、請求項14に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第2のキャリアは前記キャリアに対して正規直交するように配されている、請求項14に記載の照明装置。
- 前記キャリアが前記長手方向の軸に対して横方向に位置決めされている、請求項9乃至13の何れか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記キャリアは、前記長手方向の軸と一致している軸を有する円筒状である、請求項9乃至13の何れか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 前記キャリアは、前記長手方向の軸と平行に位置決めされている二重螺旋形にされている表面である、請求項9乃至13の何れか一項に記載の照明装置。
- 二重螺旋の前記表面は、前記接続部材の方向を向いている第1の端部と、前記接続部材から外方を向いている第2の端部とを有し、
前記第1の端部及び前記第2の端における前記長手方向の軸に対して垂直な二重螺旋表面のそれぞれの配向は、15°と360°との間の範囲にある角度だけ異なっている、
請求項19に記載の照明装置。 - 前記それぞれの配向は、60°と180°との間の範囲の角度、好ましくは約90°、最も好ましくは約120°だけ異なる、請求項20に記載の照明装置。
- 前記第2の固体状態光源を有する請求項1乃至21の何れか一項に記載の照明装置であって、前記照明装置は、前記固体状態光源及び前記第2の固体状態光源に独立に電力を供給するための電気的な接続を有する、照明装置。
- 前記第2の固体状態光源を有する請求項1乃至22の何れか一項に記載の照明装置であって、前記固体状態光源及び前記第2の固体状態光源を個々に制御するコントローラを有する、照明装置。
