該エマルションの総重量に対して1 %wt.〜65 %wt.のポリイソブテンと、
該エマルションの総重量に対して最大5 %wt.の少なくとも1つの界面活性剤と、
任意に、該エマルションの総重量に対して1 %wt.〜65 %wt.の少なくとも1つの蝋及び/又は油と、
を含み、水で100 %wt.まで補い、
該ポリイソブテンエマルションの平均粒径が100 μm以下であることを特徴とする、水性ポリイソブテンエマルション。 - 前記ポリイソブテンエマルションの平均粒径が50 μm以下である、請求項1に記載の水性ポリイソブテンエマルション。
- 前記ポリイソブテンエマルションの平均粒径が250 nm以上かつ25 μm以下である、請求項1又は2に記載の水性ポリイソブテンエマルション。
- 前記ポリイソブテンが、前記エマルションの総重量に対して5 %wt.〜60 %wt.の量で含まれる、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の水性ポリイソブテンエマルション。

- 2300Gの回転速度において60分間遠心分離機で処理すると、前記エマルションの水分離が最大50 %となる、請求項1〜11のいずれか一項に記載の水性ポリイソブテンエマルション。
- 前記エマルションの総重量に対して1 %wt.〜65 %wt.のポリイソブテンポリマーを加熱する工程であって、任意に、該ポリイソブテンポリマーを、前記エマルションの総重量に対して1 %wt.〜65 %wt.の蝋及び/又は油と混合させることによってプレミックスを得る、工程と、
前記プレミックスの粒子を形成するのに十分に遅い流量に制御して、1つ又は複数の界面活性剤を最大5 %wt.の該1つ又は複数の界面活性剤の濃度で含有する水中において前記プレミックスを混合させる工程であって、それによってプレエマルションを得る、工程と、
前記プレエマルションを均質化する工程であって、それによって、平均粒径が100 μm以下の前記ポリイソブテンエマルションを得る、工程と、
を含むプロセスによって得られる、請求項1〜12のいずれか一項に記載の水性ポリイソブテンエマルション。 - 前記エマルションの平均粒径が50 μm以下である、請求項13に記載の水性ポリイソブテンエマルション。
- 化学技術用途、例えば、接着剤系、化粧品、プラントの保全、紙の作製及び処理、布及び革の製造及び加工処理、コーティング、医療用途又は医薬用途、建造物、木材の処理、水の遮断、及び例えばメタン、二酸化炭素、ラドンに対する気体の遮断、放射線に対する保護コーティングにおける、請求項1〜14のいずれか一項に記載の水性ポリイソブテンエマルションの使用。
