Abstract
Description
Pは、重合性基を表し、
Spは、スペーサー基または単結合を表し、
Rは、ハロゲン、1から20個のC原子を有する直鎖または分枝アルキル基(置換されていなくてもよく、F、Cl、Br、IまたはCNによって一置換または多置換されていてもよい)であり、1つまたは複数の隣接していないCH2基は、それぞれの場合に互いに独立して、Oおよび/またはS原子が互いに直接接続されないように、−O−、−S−、−NH−、−NR0−、−SiR0R00−、−CO−、−COO−、−OCO−、−OCO−O−、−SO2−、−S−CO−、−CO−S−、−CH=CH−または−C≡C−によって所望により置き換えられていてもよく、
R0およびR00は、互いに独立して、Hまたは1から12個のC原子を有するアルキル基であり、
Lは、F、Cl、Br、または1から12個のC原子を有するアルキル基、アルコキシ基、アルキルカルボニル基もしくはアルコキシカルボニル基であり、1個または複数のH原子は、所望によりFまたはClに置き換えられており、
rおよびsは、互いに独立して、0、1、2、3または4である。]

これは、これら自体は液晶相を有していないが、他の液晶化合物との混合物中において、これらがあたかもそれぞれ34.8℃および32℃の結晶−ネマチック相転移温度を有するかのような挙動を示すという意味である。したがって、これらは、印刷法用の重合性メソゲン材料の調製に特に適する。
Claims (18)
- 液晶コーティングに三次元巨視的パターンを生成する方法であって、重合性および/または架橋性メソゲン材料を含む流動性コーティング組成物が基板に塗布され、前記メソゲン材料を含む層が形成され、用具の隆起要素が層に恒久的な凹部を生成するように、前記層が隆起要素のある表面を有する用具と、層の基板と反対の側で未固化状態で接触され、前記用具が取り除かれ、前記層が重合および/または架橋によって固化され、固化した層が所望により基板から分離され、前記用具が凸版印刷法用の印刷版であり、前記層の凹部が10μmを超えない深さである、方法。
- 前記メソゲン材料を含む層の凹部が、5μmを超えない深さであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記巨視的パターンが、それぞれ少なくとも0.3mmの幅を有する像および/または線要素を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記用具がフレキソ印刷版であることを特徴とする、請求項1から3の1項または複数に記載の方法。
- 前記フレキソ印刷版が、外表面を有する隆起した連続的な像要素および/または線要素、ならびに像および/または線要素の下にある中間要素を含むレリーフ層を有し、像および/または線要素が、少なくとも0.5mmの幅を有し、中間要素の深さが、像および/または線要素の外表面に対して、最大でも50μmであることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記像要素および/または線要素が、平坦な表面および側面を有し、平坦な表面から側面への移行部が円弧の形状を有し、円弧の長さが、10°から90°までの範囲の中心角に対して形成される円弧の長さの範囲から選択され、円半径が0.1から50μmの間であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記像要素および/または線要素が、弓形の形状に一致する断面を有し、弓形の高さが最大50μmに一致し、各円の半径が100から2000μmの範囲であることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 前記メソゲン材料を含む層の固化が化学線の影響下で生じることを特徴とする、請求項1から7の1項または複数に記載の方法。
- 前記基板が、紙、ボール紙、壁紙、積層板、組織材料、木材、ポリマー、金属、セキュリティ印刷製品または複数のこれらの物質の構成要素を含む材料であることを特徴とする、請求項1から8の1項または複数に記載の方法。
- 前記基板が、静電的に前処理されているかつ/またはプライマー層および/もしくは配向層および/もしくは別の基層もしくはプレコーティングが設けられていることを特徴とする、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記重合性および/または架橋性メソゲン材料が、コレステリック、スメクチックまたはネマチック材料であることを特徴とする、請求項1から10の1項または複数に記載の方法。
- 前記重合性および/または架橋性メソゲン材料が、重合性基を含有する少なくとも1種の重合性メソゲン化合物、および2つ以上の重合性官能基を含有する少なくとも1種の重合性化合物を含むことを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記流動性コーティング組成物が、重合性および/または架橋性メソゲン材料を含み、溶媒を含有せず、希釈剤を含有せず、分散媒を含有せず、重合性もしくはポリマー結合剤または結合剤構成要素を含有しないことを特徴とする、請求項1から12の1項または複数に記載の方法。
- 三次元巨視的パターンを有し、一方の表面上に、10μmを超えない深さであってその外形が三次元パターンの外形に一致する凹部を有し、請求項1から13の1項または複数に記載の方法によって得ることが可能な、メソゲン材料を含むポリマー層および/または架橋層。
- 前記三次元巨視的パターンが、それぞれ少なくとも0.3mmの幅を有する像および線要素からなることを特徴とする、請求項14に記載のメソゲン材料を含む層。
- 前記パターンが、ロゴ、シンボル、英数字、バーコード、縞模様、幾何学的パターン、ランダムパターン、抽象的パターン、文章および/または人もしくは物品の描写を含むことを特徴とする、請求項14または15に記載のメソゲン材料を含む層。
- 装飾材料またはセキュリティ製品における、請求項14から16の1項または複数に記載のメソゲン材料を含む層の使用。
- 請求項14から16の1項または複数に記載の液晶材料を含む層を含む、装飾材料またはセキュリティ製品。
