Abstract
Description
本発明は、可視スペクトルから中波赤外線(IR)スペクトルまで、例えば0.5〜5μmの波長範囲における光を、0.7〜1.0μmの近赤外範囲および3〜5μmの中波赤外範囲(MWIR)において高い透過率で透過するガラス材料に関する。かかる材料は、赤外線窓、ドーム、およびレンズ用途、並びにファイバー光学部品用途のために使用される。
1) CTE(10-7/K) − 50、nd − 1.48、SP(0C) − 729、
2) CTE(10-7/K) − 92、nd − 1.56、SP(0C) − 630、または
3) CTE(10-7/K) − 91、nd − 1.57、SP(0C) − 574。
市販の供給業者からの試薬等級の粉末をバッチ処理し、混合した。典型的なバッチ量は2000g以上である。混合された組成物を、誘導炉内のフューズドシリカまたはPtのるつぼのいずれか内で溶融し、且つ、その溶融は空気中である。溶融温度は典型的には1150℃〜1200℃の間であり、且つ、最初の溶融時間は典型的には25分〜1時間の間であった。調査用の溶融物を通常のステンレス鋼の鋳型(110mm×110mm×40mm)に傾けて注ぎ、且つアニールした。この発明内で開示される組成物のいずれについても、失透を防ぐための急冷方法は必要ではなかった。
22〜35%のPbOを含有するガラス;
8〜12%のBi2O3を含有するガラス;
12〜25%のGa2O3を含有するガラス;
35〜45%のSi2O2を含有するガラス;
合計5〜15%のPbF2、InF2および/またはZnF2を含有するガラス;
以下を含有するガラス
以下の特性を有するガラス
3mmまたは1cm厚であるガラス;
成分を溶融すること、および急冷することなくガラスを形成することを含む、本願内で開示されるガラスの製造方法;
成分を溶融すること、および、急冷せずにガラスを形成することを含み、その際、2000g以上、例えば2トンの量のガラスが単独のバッチで製造される、本願内で開示されるガラスの製造方法;
本願内で開示されるガラスを通じて、可視〜中波赤外線を透過させるための方法; および
本願内で開示されるガラスを含有する様々な製品、例えばカメラ、検出器の窓、レンズ、ファイバー光学テーパー、IR透過ファイバーフェースプレート、フレキシブルファイバー光学イメージガイド、またはカスタムファイバーコンジット。
Claims (18)
- 22〜35%のPbOを含む、請求項1に記載のガラス。
- 8〜12%のBi2O3を含む、請求項1に記載のガラス。
- 12〜25%のGa2O3を含む、請求項1に記載のガラス。
- 35〜45%のSiO2を含む、請求項1に記載のガラス。
- 合計5〜15%のPbF2、InF2および/またはZnF2を含む、請求項1に記載のガラス。
- 3mm厚である、請求項1に記載のガラス。
- 1cm厚である、請求項1に記載のガラス。
- 成分を溶融すること、および急冷せずにガラスを形成することを含む、請求項1に記載のガラスの製造方法。
- 2000g以上の量のガラスを単独のバッチで製造する、請求項14に記載のガラスの製造方法。
- 2kg〜2トンの量のガラスを単独のバッチで製造する、請求項14に記載のガラスの製造方法。
- 可視〜中波赤外線を透過させる方法であって、請求項1に記載のガラスを通じて前記線を透過させることを含む前記方法。
- 請求項1に記載のガラスを含む、カメラ、検出器の窓、レンズ、ファイバー光学テーパー、IR透過ファイバーフェースプレート、フレキシブルファイバー光学イメージガイド、またはカスタムファイバーコンジットからなる群から選択される製品。
