前記シャフトのうちの少なくとも1つのシャフトおよび/または前記外套体を、混合ニーダの運転中に20℃よりも上の温度にまで加熱することを特徴とする、混合ニーダを運転する方法によって解決される。
(I)水溶性のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマ、
(II)モノマ(I)に関して、少なくとも2個のエチレン性不飽和二重結合を有するモノマ0.001〜5モル%および
(III)モノマ(I)に関して、水不溶性のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマ0〜20モル%、
の原料を、20〜80質量%の水溶液中で、開始剤の存在で0〜140℃の温度で共重合させることにより製造される。

Claims (17)
- 1つまたは複数のシャフト(2,3)を備え、該シャフト(2,3)の表面に複数の混練バー(4)が配置されており、前記シャフト(2,3)が、外套体(6)によって取り囲まれている混合ニーダ(1)を運転する方法であって:
(a)混合ニーダ(1)の装入個所(10)で原料を供給するステップと、
(b)原料を発熱反応で反応させ、この場合、反応時にまず、混練可能な凝集性の中間生成物を形成するステップと、
(c)混練可能な凝集性の前記中間生成物を引き裂きかつ粉砕して生成物を形成し、この場合、場合によっては引裂きおよび粉砕の間、発熱反応を継続させるステップと、
(d)混合ニーダ(1)の取出し個所(11)で前記生成物を取り出すステップと、
を包含する方法において、
前記シャフト(2,3)のうちの少なくとも1つのシャフトおよび/または前記外套体(6)を、混合ニーダ(1)の運転中に20℃よりも上の温度にまで加熱することを特徴とする、混合ニーダを運転する方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つのシャフト(2,3)に調温媒体を流通させる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記外套体(6)が二重外套体として形成されていて、該二重外套体がギャップ(7)を形成し、該ギャップ(7)を通って調温媒体が流れる、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのシャフト(2,3)の撓みを測定し、該撓みに関連して調温媒体の流入温度を制御する、請求項2または3記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのシャフト(2,3)の、測定された撓みが、予め規定された上限値よりも上にある場合、調温媒体の流入温度を高める、請求項2から4までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのシャフト(2,3)の、測定された撓みが、予め規定された下限値よりも下にある場合および/または取り出された生成物の品質が低下した場合、調温媒体の流入温度を下げる、請求項2から5までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 調温媒体を、前記少なくとも1つのシャフト(2,3)および/または前記二重外套体に、混合ニーダ(1)の内容物に対して並流または向流で流通させる、請求項2から6までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 調温媒体が水、水蒸気、サーマルオイルまたは塩融液である、請求項2から7までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 調温媒体の流入温度が、20〜99℃である、請求項2から8までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 調温媒体の最大温度が、混合ニーダ(1)内に含まれている材料の分解温度よりも下であり、かつ/または混合ニーダ(1)内に含まれている混合物の沸騰温度よりも下である、請求項2から9までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 調温媒体の流出温度が、20〜120℃である、請求項2から10までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記少なくとも1つのシャフト(2,3)および/または前記外套体(6)を、原料の装入前に予熱する、請求項1から11までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 原料の温度が、混合ニーダ(1)への流入前に5〜30℃である、請求項1から12までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 原料として、水溶性のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマ、特にアクリル酸またはメタクリル酸を装入する、請求項1から13までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 別の原料として、少なくとも2個のエチレン性不飽和二重結合を含む架橋剤を装入する、請求項14記載の方法。
- 別の原料として、水不溶性のモノエチレン性不飽和モノマ、特にヒドロキシエチルアクリレート、ヒドロキシプロピルアクリレート、ヒドロキシエチルメタクリレート、ヒドロキシプロピルメタクリレート、アクリルニトリルおよび/またはメタクリルニトリルを装入する、請求項14または15記載の方法。
- 別の原料として、重合開始剤、特に過酸化水素とペルオキソ二硫酸ナトリウムとアスコルビン酸とから成るレドックス系を装入する、請求項14から16までのいずれか1項記載の方法。
