Claims (10)
- 吸水性ポリマー粒子の製造方法であって、
(i)少なくとも部分的に中和されたモノエチレン性不飽和カルボン酸基含有モノマー(α1)と、少なくとも1種の架橋剤(α3)と、を含むモノマー水溶液を調製する工程と、
(ii)吸水性ポリマーの微粒子又は塩水溶液を前記モノマー水溶液に添加する工程と、
(iii)重合開始剤又は2種以上の成分を含む重合開始剤系の少なくとも1種の成分を前記モノマー水溶液に添加する工程と、
(iv)前記モノマー水溶液の酸素含有量を減少させる工程と、
(v)前記モノマー水溶液を重合反応器に仕込む工程と、
(vi)前記モノマー水溶液中のモノマーを前記重合反応器内で重合させる工程と、
(vii)前記重合反応器からポリマーゲルストランドを排出し、前記ポリマーゲルを粉砕してポリマーゲル粒子を得る工程と、

(i)少なくとも部分的に中和されたモノエチレン性不飽和カルボン酸基含有モノマー(α1)と、少なくとも1種の架橋剤(α3)と、を含むモノマー水溶液を調製する工程と、
(iii)重合開始剤又は2種以上の成分を含む重合開始剤系の少なくとも1種の成分を前記モノマー水溶液に添加する工程と、
(iv)前記モノマー水溶液の酸素含有量を減少させる工程と、
(v)前記モノマー水溶液を重合反応器に仕込む工程と、
(vi)前記モノマー水溶液中のモノマーを前記重合反応器内で重合させる工程と、
(vii)前記重合反応器からポリマーゲルストランドを排出してポリマーゲル粒子を得る工程と、
(viii)前記ポリマーゲル粒子を乾燥させる工程と、
(ix)乾燥させた前記ポリマーゲル粒子を粉砕して吸水性ポリマー粒子を得る工程と、
(x)粉砕した前記吸水性ポリマー粒子の分級を行う工程と、
(xi)粉砕及び分級した前記吸水性ポリマー粒子の表面架橋を行う工程と、
を含み、
前記工程(xi)は、
(x1a)前記粒子を架橋剤水溶液と混合する工程と、
(x2a)水平作動混合装置内において前記工程(x1a)で得られた混合物を熱処理する工程と、
を含み、
前記水平作動混合装置は流体圧駆動されることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記水平作動混合装置内において、前記混合物を150〜250℃の温度範囲で熱処理する、請求項1〜4いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記水平作動混合装置は、少なくとも1つの回転軸と、流体圧及び流体流をトルク及び角変位に変換し、前記軸を回転させる流体圧モーターと、を含む、請求項1〜5いずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記回転軸にはパドルが設けられている、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記流体圧モーターに使用する流体として油を使用する、請求項6又は7に記載の方法。
- 前記水平作動混合装置内における粒子の平均滞留時間は5〜500分である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記水平作動混合装置内における前記軸の回転速度は5〜25rpmである、請求項6〜9のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
