Abstract
Description
薬剤を送達するための装置が、数多く市販されており特許も取得している。薬剤は、シリンジ、カートリッジ等の容器の中に入れられ、薬剤には、送達されるときに圧力が加えられる。ごく一般的な設計は、概ね筒状のコンパートメントであって、このコンパートメントの一端にストッパが設けられ、その反対側の端部には薬剤を患者に送達することができる針、ノズル等の部材が装着されている。
本発明の目的は、技術水準の装置の欠陥が修復された薬剤送達装置を提供することである。
その他の側面、特徴、および利点は、上記概要から、ならびに、図面および請求項を含む以下の説明から、明らかになるであろう。
実施の形態の機械的構造
図1は、本発明の好ましい実施の形態に従う薬剤送達装置の斜視図を示す。この薬剤送達装置は、近位端と遠位端とを有し、近位部または端11および遠位部または端12を有するハウジング10を含む。薬剤送達装置を組立てた状態で、ハウジング10は、薬剤送達装置の外面または外観の一部を形成する。しかしながら、ハウジングは多くの他のやり方で設計し得ることが理解されるはずである。
送達する用量の設定動作
図8は、初期状態の薬剤送達装置の断面図を示す。
一回分の用量の薬剤を送達するために、ユーザは、用量送達部位、特に、薬剤送達部材が注射針のときは注射部位に、装置の近位端を押し当てる。次の段階では、装置の遠位端の起動ボタン72を押す。そうすると、ユーザが加えた力によって隙間76が閉じボタン72は駆動ドラムスリーブ30の遠位結合部材31に接触する。
