Claims (10)
- 結晶構造を有し、そして置換可能な元素を含むホウ酸塩;

- 第一の置換パーセントは約50〜約95パーセントの範囲にあり、そして第二の置換パーセントは約5〜約50パーセントの範囲にある、請求項1に記載の発光性物質。
- 発光性物質は粉末の形態になっていて、そしてこの発光性物質は10ミクロン未満の粒度を有する粒子を含む、請求項1に記載の発光性物質。
- セキュリティー特徴部を含む物品であって、
前記セキュリティー特徴部は、基材、および前記基材の中に分散させた発光性のホウ酸塩の粒子を含み、
前記発光性のホウ酸塩は結晶構造を有するホウ酸塩を含み、前記ホウ酸塩は置換可能な元素、この置換可能な元素の代わりに少なくとも約20パーセントの第一の置換パーセントで用いられるネオジム、および置換可能な元素の代わりに第二の置換パーセントで用いられるイッテルビウムを含む、
前記物品。 - 物品は、身分証明書、運転免許証、旅券、身元証明書、紙幣、小切手、証書、文書、株券、梱包要素、クレジットカード、バンクカード、ラベル、印章、郵便切手、代用貨幣、液体、人体、動物、および生物学的サンプルからなる群から選択される物品である、請求項8に記載の物品。
- 物品の一部をクロムの吸収帯において励起輻射線に曝露する工程、および
曝露工程が終了した後にその励起輻射線の結果としてその一部によって生成して検出される放射がイッテルビウムの放射を示すかどうかを判定する工程、
を含む物品に組み入れた発光性の物質を確認するための方法。
