Claims (2)
- 物品を認証する方法であって、
物品の領域を励起放射線に晒すステップであって、前記領域が、蛍光体化合物を包含する認証機能がその中に又はその上に配置された領域であり、前記蛍光体化合物が複数の波長で検出可能な放射線を発し、前記蛍光体化合物がホスト結晶格子材料および放射イオンを含み、前記放射イオンが多数の放出サブバンドによって特徴づけられる、ことを特徴とする晒すステップと、
第1のバンド、および、第1のバンドとオーバーラップしない第2のバンドにおいて物品の領域から発せられた放射線を検出するステップであって、前記第1のバンドが蛍光体化合物の放射イオンの第1の放射サブバンドと対応し、前記第2のバンドが蛍光体化合物の放射イオンの第2の放射サブバンドと対応することを特徴とする、放射線を検出するステップと、
前記第1のバンドの放射の第1の強度と、前記第2のバンドの放射の第2の強度との間の数学的関係を表す比較値を計算するステップと、
前記比較値が、認証パラメータと有利に同等であると見なされるかどうか判断するステップと、
を有することを特徴とする方法。 - 前記放射線を検出するステップが、
放射線を、前記第1のバンド内の光を包含する第1のビームと、前記第2のバンド内の光を包含する第2のビームとに分けるステップと、
前記第1のビームから第1の強度を検出するステップと、
前記第2のビームから第2の強度を検出するステップと、
を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
