前記半透明基板(1)の上には光学出力層(2)が被着されており、
前記半透明電極(3)は前記出力層(2)の上に設けられており、
前記有機機能層には、前記半透明電極(3)の上に設けられている有機正孔伝導層(4)と、該正孔伝導層(4)の上に設けられている、少なくとも一つの有機発光層(5)と、有機電子伝導層(6)とが含まれており、
前記少なくとも一つの有機発光層(5)は、前記反射性電極(7)まで150nm以上の間隔を有している、
ことを特徴とする、有機発光素子。 - 有機発光素子において、

- 前記有機機能積層体は、5nmよりも厚く、且つ、450nmよりも大きい波長に対して0.005以下の吸収係数kを有している少なくとも一つの有機機能層を有している、請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載の素子。
- 前記半透明電極(3)は、450nmよりも大きい波長に対して、0.005以下の吸収係数kを有しており、且つ、可視スペクトル領域において80%以上の総透過率を有している、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載の素子。

- 前記光学出力層(2)は光散乱性である、請求項1乃至9のいずれか一項に記載の素子。
- 前記光学出力層(2)は、屈折率が1.8以上、特に1.85以上の材料を有しており、該材料内に散乱中心部が分散されて配置されている、請求項1乃至10のいずれか一項に記載の素子。
- 前記有機機能積層体は、
−前記電子伝導層(6)と前記少なくとも一つの発光層(5)との間の正孔ブロック層、
−前記正孔伝導層(4)と前記少なくとも一つの発光層(5)との間の電子ブロック層、
から選択されている、少なくとも一つの別の有機層を更に有している、請求項1乃至11のいずれか一項に記載の素子。 - 前記正孔伝導層(4)と前記電子伝導層(6)との間に、複数の発光層(51,5n)が配置されている、請求項1乃至12のいずれか一項に記載の素子。
- 前記反射性電極(7)と前記少なくとも一つの発光層(5)との間に配置されている前記電子伝導層(6)又は前記正孔伝導層(4)はドーピングされている、請求項1乃至13のいずれか一項に記載の素子。
- 前記半透明電極(3)は150μΩ・cm以上且つ500μΩ・cm以下の比抵抗を有している、請求項1乃至14のいずれか一項に記載の素子。
