ステントは、患者の体内の開放内腔を維持するために広く用いられる。例えば、ステントは、冠状動脈、頸動脈、大脳動脈、膝窩動脈、腸管動脈、大腿動脈、脛骨動脈、腎動脈、静脈を含む他の血管、もしくは、尿管、尿道、気管支、食道、涙管、ファオピウス管、鼻腔などの他の体腔、または他の導管の開存性を維持するために用いられ得る。
本発明の一局面に従って、疲労抵抗ステントは、内径と、外径と、内径と外径との間にある側壁とを有し、側壁を通って延びるアパーチャを有する可撓性管状構造を備えている。本発明の他の局面に従って、疲労抵抗ステントを作る工程が開示される。本発明のさらなる局面に従って、疲労抵抗ステントのための送達システムおよび使用法が提供される。
本発明は、例えば、以下を提供する。

哺乳動物体内における移植のためのステントであって、
該ステントは、
管状構造であって、内径と、外径と、該内径と該外径との間の側壁と、長手方向を規定する中心軸と、該側壁を通って延びるアパーチャとを有する、管状構造を備え、
該アパーチャは、頂点において接合されるストラットを分離し、該頂点は引張歪のレベル示す構造を有し、
該ステントは、該中心軸に沿って長さを有し、該長手方向の該ステントの伸長は、該頂点における引張歪のレベルの変化を引き起こし、
該ステントは、少なくとも10%引き伸ばされた場合、各頂点における引張歪のレベルが約3%未満となるように組み立てられる、ステント。
(項目2)
上記ステントが少なくとも10%引き伸ばされた場合、各頂点における引張歪みのレベルは、約2%未満であり、好ましくは2%未満であり、より好ましくは1%未満であり、最も好ましくは0.5%未満である、項目1に記載のステント。
(項目3)
上記ステントが少なくとも20%引き伸ばされた場合、各頂点における引張歪みのレベルは、約3%未満であり、好ましくは2%未満であり、より好ましくは1%未満であり、最も好ましくは0.5%未満である、項目1に記載のステント。
(項目4)
上記ステントが少なくとも30%引き伸ばされた場合、各頂点における引張歪みのレベルは、約3%未満であり、好ましくは2%未満であり、より好ましくは1%未満であり、最も好ましくは0.5%未満である、項目1に記載のステント。
(項目5)
上記ステントが少なくとも40%引き伸ばされた場合、各頂点における引張歪みのレベルは、約3%未満であり、好ましくは2%未満であり、より好ましくは1%未満であり、最も好ましくは0.5%未満である、項目1に記載のステント。
(項目6)
上記ステントが少なくとも50%引き伸ばされた場合、各頂点における引張歪みのレベルは、約3%未満であり、好ましくは2%未満であり、より好ましくは1%未満であり、最も好ましくは0.5%未満である、項目1に記載のステント。
(項目7)
各頂点における引張歪の許容差レベルは約±0.5%である、項目1に記載のステント。
(項目8)
上記ステントが拡張されない構成である場合、上記頂点の少なくともいくつかは、互いに対して対向しており、該ステントが拡張された構成である場合、該頂点の少なくともいくつかは、外周方向に互いにずれている、項目1に記載のステント。
(項目9)
上記管状構造は、レーザ切断管を含む、項目1に記載のステント。
(項目10)
上記管状構造は、複数の領域において接合されるワイヤ形式を含むことにより、上記ストラットおよび上記頂点を形成する、項目1に記載のステント。
(項目11)
上記管状構造はブレードを含む、項目1に記載のステント。
(項目12)
哺乳動物体内における移植のためのステントであって、該ステントは、長手方向を規定する中心軸と壁厚を有する周囲側壁とを有する管状構造と、該側壁を通って延びるアパーチャとを含み、該アパーチャは、異なる幅を有する長手方向ストラットを分離し、頂点において接合され、複数のストラットはセルを規定するようにグループ化され、
該ステントの外周方向において、各セルは、第1の幅を有するストラットの第1のグループと、該第1のグループとは異なる第2の幅を有するストラットの第2のグループとを含み、外周方向に隣接する頂点は長手方向に対して互いにずれている、ステント。

上記第1のグループは3つのストラットを含み、上記第2のグループは5つのストラットを含む、項目12に記載のステント。
(項目14)
外周方向に見た場合、隣接するセルは、上記第1のグループの最初のストラットを上記第2のグループの最後のストラットに接続することによって、外周方向に一緒に接合される、項目13に記載のステント。
(項目15)
上記第1のグループの上記頂点は、上記第2のグループの上記頂点とは異なる幅を有する、項目12に記載のステント。
(項目16)
上記第2の幅は、上記第1の幅とは約20%だけ異なる、項目12に記載のステント。(項目17)
上記第2の幅は、上記第1の幅とは約10%だけ異なる、項目12に記載のステント。(項目18)
ストラットの上記第1のグループは、ストラットの上記第2のグループの長さとは異なる長さを有する、項目12に記載のステント。

上記第1のグループにおける上記ストラットは、上記第2のグループにおける上記ストラットより小さい幅および小さい長さを有する、項目13に記載のステント。
(項目20)
上記第1のグループにおける上記ストラットは、上記第2のグループにおける上記ストラットより大きい幅および大きい長さを有する、項目13に記載のステント。

ステントが十分に拡張された場合(通常、自己拡張ステントの場合のように)、頂点近くのストラットに歪を有しないステントの場合、頂点近くのストラットにおける初期歪は、0であり、それで、変形させられた場合ステントの頂点近くのストラットにおける歪は、上記の式を用いて計算される歪と等しい。重要なことであるが、式から分かることは、ストラット歪における計算された変化が、角度18における変化がより低い場合より低く、ストラット幅SWがより少ない場合より低く、ストラット長LSが増加する場合より低いということである。
Claims (7)
- ステントであって、
中心の長手方向軸を規定する側壁を含むステント構造であって、該側壁は、複数のストラットを含み、該複数のストラットは、複数のセルを規定するように配置されており、各セルは、第1および第2のコネクタのそれぞれによって第1および第2の対向する外周方向位置において接続されたストラットの近位および遠位の外周方向列パターンを含み、該近位および遠位の列パターンの各々は、外周方向に隣接するストラットがそれぞれの頂点において接続されている、概して長手方向に延びる複数のストラットを有しており、該近位および遠位の列パターンの各々は、第1のストラット幅を有する第1のストラットタイプのストラットと、該第1のストラット幅よりも大きい第2のストラット幅を有する第2のストラットタイプのストラットとを含み、各セルの該近位の列パターンの該第1のストラットタイプのストラットは、該第1の外周方向位置において該第1のコネクタに隣接して配置されており、各セルの該遠位の列パターンの該第1のストラットタイプのストラットは、該第2の対向する外周方向位置において該第2のコネクタに隣接して配置されている、ステント構造
を含み、
該ステント構造が拡張されない構成である場合、各セルの該近位および遠位の列パターンの各々の中で外周方向に隣接する頂点は、互いに対して長手方向にずれている、ステント。 - 前記第1のストラットタイプのストラットは、ストラット長を規定し、該ストラット長のうちの少なくともいくつかは、前記第2のストラットタイプによって規定されるストラット長よりも大きい、請求項1に記載のステント。
- 前記近位および遠位の列パターンの各々は、前記第1のストラットタイプの少なくとも3つのストラットと、前記第2のストラットタイプの少なくとも5つのストラットとを有する、請求項2に記載のステント。
- 前記第1のストラットタイプのストラットのうちの少なくともいくつかは、異なるストラット長を有し、前記第2のストラットタイプのストラットのうちの少なくともいくつかは、異なるストラット長を有する、請求項3に記載のステント。
- 各セルは、前記第1のコネクタに接続された前記近位の列パターン内の前記第1のタイプのストラットと、前記第1のコネクタに接続された前記遠位の列パターン内の前記第2のタイプのストラットとを含む、請求項3に記載のステント。
- 各セルは、前記第2のコネクタに接続された前記近位の列パターン内の前記第2のタイプのストラットと、前記第2のコネクタに接続された前記遠位の列パターン内の前記第1のタイプのストラットとを含む、請求項5に記載のステント。
