Claims (7)
- 検知対象領域にエネルギー波を送波する送波部と、前記検知対象領域に存在する物体で反射した前記エネルギー波を受波し、受波した前記エネルギー波を電気信号からなる受波信号に変換する受波部と、前記送波部が所定の送波期間に連続して前記エネルギー波を送波するように制御する制御部と、前記受波部から出力される受波信号に基づいて前記物体までの距離を計測する計測部とを備え、前記制御部は、前記計測部が計測する距離に対応して、前記送波期間を変更するように構成されることを特徴とする物体検知装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記距離が所定範囲内に収まっている場合は第1の送波期間で前記送波部から前記エネルギー波を送波させ、前記距離が前記所定範囲よりも遠い場合は前記第1の送波期間よりも長い第2の送波期間で前記送波部から前記エネルギー波を送波させるように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の物体検知装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記第1の送波期間で前記送波部から前記エネルギー波を送波させている場合に、前記距離が前記所定範囲よりも遠くなるか、あるいは前記距離が計測不能となったときに前記送波期間を前記第1の送波期間から前記第2の送波期間に変更するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項2記載の物体検知装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記距離が増大している場合は前記送波期間を延長し、前記距離が減少している場合は前記送波期間を短縮するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1記載の物体検知装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記距離が計測不能となった場合は前記送波期間を延長するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項4記載の物体検知装置。
- 複数の前記送波部と、前記各送波部と対になる複数の前記受波部と、複数の前記受波部から出力される各受波信号に基づいて、前記各受波部毎に前記物体までの距離を計測する前記計測部とを備え、
前記制御部は、何れか1つの前記送波部の前記送波期間を変更した場合、他の1乃至複数の前記送波部のうちの少なくとも何れか1つの前記送波部の前記送波期間を連動して変更するように構成されることを特徴とする請求項1,2,4の何れかに記載の物体検知装置。 - 前記制御部は、前記計測部が全ての前記距離が計測不能となるか、あるいは全ての前記距離が前記所定範囲よりも遠くなれば、全ての前記送波部の前記送波期間を相対的に長くするように構成されることを特徴とする請求項6記載の物体検知装置。
