Description
Claims (10)
- 放射性廃棄物、特に、使用済み燃料を輸送容器及び/又は貯蔵容器を乾燥する方法であって、その際、水を含有する容器室内が、乾燥、特に、真空乾燥に供され、その際、該容器室内中に存在する、化学結合した水を有する少なくとも一種のホウ素化合物が、少なくとも一種の反応物質と混合され、それにより、該ホウ素化合物の化学結合した水が遊離し、そして、このようにして遊離した水が、前記容器の内部の乾燥時、特に、真空乾燥時に、該容器室内から抜き出されるか又は除去される、上記の方法。
- 前記乾燥又は真空乾燥が、12ミリバールまでの、好ましくは10ミリバールまでの低圧で遂行される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記化学結合した水を有するホウ素化合物がホウ酸又はオルトホウ酸(H3BO3)である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記化学結合した水を有するホウ素化合物及び前記反応物質から、反応生成物として気化可能なホウ素生成物が生成し、そして、該気化可能なホウ素生成物又は反応生成物が、前記乾燥又は真空乾燥の過程で前記容器室内から除去されるか又は抜き出される、請求項1〜3のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 少なくとも一種のアルコールが反応物質として投入され、そしてホウ酸エステルが反応生成物として形成される、請求項1〜4のいずれか一つの記載の方法。
- 反応物質としてアルコールが投入され、該アルコールが、比較的高い沸点、好ましくは、該アルコール及び水の対応する共沸混合物よりも、少なくとも2℃、より好ましくは少なくとも3℃高い沸点を有する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 反応物質として、炭素数Cn(n=3又はn=4)を有するアルコールが投入され、その際、特に好ましくは、反応物質としてn−プロパノール(n=3)が投入される、請求項5又は6に記載の方法。
- 反応物質としてアルコールが過剰に添加される、請求項5〜7のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記アルコールが、前記容器の乾燥又は真空乾燥の過程で抜き出されるか又は気化する、請求項5〜8のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
- 前記化学結合した水を含有するホウ素化合物の、前記反応物質との転化(反応)が、酸触媒不含か、又は実質的に酸触媒不含で遂行される、請求項1〜9のいずれか一つに記載の方法。
