Abstract
【解決手段】画像処理部20は、受信信号に基づいて得られる超音波画像に対する解像度の変換処理により、互いに解像度の異なる複数の解像度画像を生成する。さらに、画像処理部20は、複数の解像度画像を互いに比較して得られる差分画像に対する非線形処理により、画像内に含まれる境界に係る境界成分を生成する。そして、生成された境界成分に基づいて超音波画像に対して強調処理を施すことにより境界強調画像が生成される。

Claims (6)
- 超音波を送受するプローブと、
プローブを制御することにより超音波の受信信号を得る送受信部と、
受信信号に基づいて得られる超音波画像に対する解像度の変換処理により、互いに解像度の異なる複数の解像度画像を生成する解像度処理部と、
複数の解像度画像を互いに比較して得られる差分画像に対する非線形処理により、画像内に含まれる境界に係る境界成分を生成する境界成分生成部と、
を有し、
生成された境界成分に基づいて超音波画像に対して強調処理を施すことにより境界強調画像を生成する、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記境界成分生成部は、差分画像の画素値が正の場合と負の場合において互いに異なる特性の非線形処理を施す、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1または2に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記境界成分生成部は、差分画像の画素値の絶対値が大きいほど画素値を抑制して出力する非線形処理を施す、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記境界成分生成部は、非線形処理を施した差分画像に対して、当該差分画像を得るにあたって比較した解像度画像の画素値に応じた重みづけ処理を施すことにより、前記境界成分を生成する、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記解像度処理部は、段階的に解像度を異ならせた複数の解像度画像を形成し、
前記境界成分生成部は、1段階だけ解像度を異ならせた2つの解像度画像に基づいて1つの境界成分を得ることにより、複数段階に対応した複数の境界成分を生成し、
複数段階に対応した複数の境界成分に基づいて画像の加算成分を生成する加算成分生成部と、
生成された加算成分を超音波画像に加算して境界強調画像を生成する加算処理部と、
をさらに有する、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。 - 請求項5に記載の超音波診断装置において、
前記境界成分生成部は、1段階だけ解像度を異ならせた2つの解像度画像に基づいて1つの差分画像を生成し、複数段階に対応した複数の差分画像に対して各段階に応じた非線形処理を施して複数の境界成分を生成する、
ことを特徴とする超音波診断装置。
