Description
本実施形態の超音波撮像装置100の具体的な構成について図1および図4を用いて説明する。図4は、超音波撮像装置100により被検体2を検査している状態を示している。図4のように、ここでは超音波撮像装置100が超音波CT装置であって、特に、乳房の組織を識別するのに適した構造の装置である例について説明する。

画像処理部30は、それぞれm個の式(1)および式(2)を用いて、k番目のウインドウに1つ定められる係数akおよび定数bkと、画素ごとに定められるniとをniが最小になる解を求めることにより、算出する。これにより、そのウインドウについてのフィルタ係数(係数akおよび定数bkと、ni)が算出される(ステップ1002)。例えば、画像処理部30は、最小二乗法等の最適化方法を用いて上記フィルタ係数を算出する。
Claims (8)
- 1以上の振動子に送信信号を出力することにより、前記振動子から被検体に対して超音波を送信させるとともに、前記被検体において発生したエコーを受信した複数の前記振動子が出力する受信信号を受け取って所定の処理を行う送受信部と、
前記送受信部が処理した前記受信信号を用いて、第1および第2の超音波画像を生成する画像生成部と、
前記第1および第2の超音波画像を用いて出力画像を生成する画像処理部とを有し、
前記画像生成部は、前記第2の超音波画像として、前記第1の超音波画像よりも平滑な画像を生成し、
前記画像処理部は、前記第1および第2の超音波画像の対応する画素の画素値を用いてフィルタ係数を算出し、前記第1および第2の超音波画像のうち一方の画像を前記フィルタ係数により処理することにより、出力画像を生成し、
前記画像処理部は、前記フィルタ係数として、係数aと定数bとを用い、前記第1の超音波画像の画素の画素値に係数aを掛けて、定数bを加算した値と、前記第2の超音波画像の対応する画素の画素値との差が最小になる前記係数aと前記定数bとを、前記第1及び第2の超音波画像に設定したウインドウ内の複数の画素の画素値を用いて算出し、前記第1の超音波画像の前記ウインドウ内の画素の画素値に算出した前記係数aを掛けて、定数bを加算することにより、前記出力画像の画素値を算出することを特徴とする超音波撮像装置。 - 請求項1に記載の超音波撮像装置であって、前記第1の超音波画像は、前記被検体の組織構造の境界が強調されるように前記画像生成部により生成された画像であり、前記第2の超音波画像は、スペックルノイズが低減されるように前記画像生成部により生成された画像であることを特徴とする超音波撮像装置。
- 請求項1に記載の超音波撮像装置であって、前記画像処理部が前記フィルタ係数により処理する画像は、前記第1の超音波画像であることを特徴とする超音波撮像装置。
- 請求項1に記載の超音波撮像装置であって、前記画像処理部は、前記ウインドウを、前記第1および第2の超音波画像に複数設定し、前記ウインドウごとに前記フィルタ係数を算出することを特徴とする超音波撮像装置。
- 請求項4に記載の超音波撮像装置であって、前記画像処理部は、複数の前記ウインドウを一部が重なり合うように設定し、前記ウインドウが重なり合う領域に位置する画素には、重なり合うウインドウについてそれぞれ求めた前記係数aと前記定数bを合成した値を用いて前記出力画像の画素値を算出することを特徴とする超音波撮像装置。
- 請求項1に記載の超音波撮像装置であって、前記複数の振動子のうち少なくとも1対以上の振動子は、前記被検体を挟んで対向する位置に配置され、前記被検体に送信された超音波の透過波を受信可能であり、前記画像生成部は、前記透過波の受信信号を用いて前記被検体の透過波画像をさらに生成することを特徴とする超音波撮像装置。
- 請求項1に記載の超音波撮像装置であって、複数の前記振動子は、配列して配置されており、
前記画像生成部は、予め設定しておいた受信開口内の複数の前記振動子の出力した受信信号を遅延加算することにより、前記第1の超音波画像を生成し、
前記画像生成部は、前記受信開口を複数のサブ受信開口に分割し、前記サブ受信開口ごとに、当該サブ受信開口内の複数の前記振動子の出力した受信信号を遅延加算することにより、サブ受信開口ごとの超音波画像を得て、得られたサブ受信開口ごとの超音波画像を合成することにより第2の超音波画像を生成することを特徴とする超音波撮像装置。 - 超音波を送信された被検体において発生したエコーを受信した複数の振動子が出力する受信信号、または、前記受信信号から生成された超音波画像を受け取って、第1および第2の超音波画像を生成する画像生成部と、
前記第1および第2の超音波画像を用いて出力画像を生成する画像処理部とを有し、
前記画像生成部は、前記第2の超音波画像として、前記第1の超音波画像よりも平滑な画像を生成し、
前記画像処理部は、前記第1および第2の超音波画像の対応する画素の画素値を用いてフィルタ係数を算出し、前記第1および第2の超音波画像のうち一方の画像を前記フィルタ係数により処理することにより、出力画像を生成し、
前記画像処理部は、前記フィルタ係数として、係数aと定数bとを用い、前記第1の超音波画像の画素の画素値に係数aを掛けて、定数bを加算した値と、前記第2の超音波画像の対応する画素の画素値との差が最小になる前記係数aと前記定数bとを、前記第1及び第2の超音波画像に設定したウインドウ内の複数の画素の画素値を用いて算出し、前記第1の超音波画像の前記ウインドウ内の画素の画素値に算出した前記係数aを掛けて、定数bを加算することにより、前記出力画像の画素値を算出することを特徴とする画像処理装置。
