Abstract
【解決手段】塩素系消毒により消毒副生成物を生成する消毒副生成物前駆有機物、および/または異臭味成分を含有する水の浄水処理において使用した植物系球状活性炭を650〜800℃にて水蒸気賦活方法により再生する方法。

Description
[1]塩素系消毒により消毒副生成物を生成する消毒副生成物前駆有機物、および/または異臭味成分を含有する水の浄水処理において使用した植物系球状活性炭を650〜800℃にて水蒸気賦活方法により再生する方法。
[2]前記植物系球状活性炭は、BET比表面積が1100m2/g以上、孔径2nm未満のマイクロポア領域の細孔容積が0.2cm3/g以上、孔径2〜50nmのメソポア領域の細孔容積が0.10cm3/g以上、かつ50nm以上のマクロポア領域の細孔容積が0.40cm3/g以上である球状成形活性炭である、[1]に記載の再生方法。
[3]前記浄水処理が、凝集沈澱工程と、砂ろ過工程と、活性炭吸着工程とを具備する、[1]又は[2]に記載の再生方法。
[4]前記浄水処理が、さらにオゾン酸化工程を具備する、[3]に記載の再生方法。
[5][1]〜[4]のいずれか1に記載の方法により製造した再生植物系球状活性炭。
[6][1]〜[4]のいずれか1に記載の方法により再生した植物系球状活性炭を、浄水処理の活性炭吸着工程にて再利用する方法。
A浄水処理施設で4年間使用した、ヤシ殻系球状成形活性炭Aの劣化炭1、大鋸屑系球状成形活性炭Bの劣化炭2、石炭系粒状破砕活性炭の劣化炭3、及びヤシ殻系粒状破砕活性炭の劣化炭4のヨウ素吸着性能およびメチレンブルー脱色力、並びに、各劣化炭を600〜900℃で温度を変更した条件で再生した場合のヨウ素吸着性能およびメチレンブルー脱色力を表2に示す。
図2に示す浄水処理方式にて表3に示す処理条件にて行った浄水処理における有機物の除去性能について、石炭系破砕炭(マイクロポア容積0.1cm3/g、メソポア容積0.25cm3/g、マクロポア容積0.40cm3/g、BET比表面積1,050m2/g)、ヤシ殻系球状活性炭A(マイクロポア容積0.4cm3/g、メソポア容積0.12cm3/g、マクロポア容積0.35cm3/g、BET比表面積1,320m2/g)のそれぞれ新炭と、700℃で再生したヤシ殻系球状活性炭Aの再生炭とを比較した。有機物の指標である紫外部吸光度E260の除去率の通水倍率による推移を表4及び図7に示し、総トリハロメタン生成能(THMFP)の通水倍数と除去率の推移を表5及び図8に示し、洗浄時間と逆洗排水濁度の推移を表6及び図9に示し、通水倍率によるアンモニア性窒素の除去率の推移を表7及び図10に示す。
Claims (6)
- 塩素系消毒により消毒副生成物を生成する消毒副生成物前駆有機物、および/または異臭味成分を含有する水の浄水処理において使用した植物系球状活性炭を650〜800℃にて水蒸気賦活方法により再生する方法。
- 前記植物系球状活性炭は、BET比表面積が1100m2/g以上、孔径2nm未満のマイクロポア領域の細孔容積が0.2cm3/g以上、孔径2〜50nmのメソポア領域の細孔容積が0.10cm3/g以上、かつ50nm以上のマクロポア領域の細孔容積が0.40cm3/g以上である球状成形活性炭である、請求項1に記載の再生方法。
- 前記浄水処理が、凝集沈澱工程と、砂ろ過工程と、活性炭吸着工程とを具備する、請求項1又は2に記載の再生方法。
- 前記浄水処理が、さらにオゾン酸化工程を具備する、請求項3に記載の再生方法。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1に記載の方法により製造した再生植物系球状活性炭。
- 請求項1〜4のいずれか1に記載の方法により再生した植物系球状活性炭を、浄水処理の活性炭吸着工程にて再利用する方法。
