Abstract
Description
チタン酸塩の粒子形状は電界放出型走査電子顕微鏡(日立ハイテクノロジーズ社製、S−4800)により確認し、結晶構造はX線回折測定装置(リガク社製、RINT2000−Ultima+)により確認し、組成式はICP−AES分析装置(エスアイアイ・ナノテクノロジーズ社製、SPS5100)により確認し、融点は示差熱熱重量同時測定装置(エスアイアイ・ナノテクノロジーズ社製、EXSTAR6000 TG/DTA6300)により測定し、平均粒子径をレーザー回折式粒度分布測定装置(島津製作所社製、SALD−2100)により測定した。
酸化チタン516.7g、炭酸カリウム214.6g、炭酸リチウム19.4g、水酸化マグネシウム45.3gを振動ミルにて粉砕しながら、1時間混合した。
酸化チタン506.2g、炭酸カリウム210.3g、炭酸リチウム19.0g、酸化銅(II)60.5gを振動ミルにて粉砕しながら、1時間混合した。
酸化チタン445.4g、炭酸カリウム210.2g、炭酸リチウム19.0g、酸化鉄(III)121.5gを振動ミルにて粉砕しながら、1時間混合した。
酸化チタン536.1g、炭酸カリウム215.8g、炭酸リチウム35.0g、水酸化マグネシウム9.1gを振動ミルにて粉砕しながら、1時間混合した。
酸化チタン540.9g、炭酸カリウム216.1g、炭酸リチウム39.0gを振動ミルにて粉砕しながら、1時間混合した。
酸化チタン492.9g、炭酸カリウム213.2g、水酸化マグネシウム89.9gを振動ミルにて粉砕しながら、1時間混合した。
(試験例1〜7)
表1に記載のチタン酸塩150mgとフェノール樹脂(住友ベークライト社製、スミライトレジンPR−50064)50mgをメノウ乳鉢で混合した。得られた混合粉体を、示差走査熱量計(エスアイアイ・ナノテクノロジーズ社製、EXSTAR6000 DSC6220)を用い、窒素気流下(50ml/min)で、昇温温度2℃/minで測定を行った。示差走査熱量計のデータから、JIS K6910−2007の方法に準じて硬化発熱ピーク温度を算出した。結果を表1に示した。
(実施例5)
実施例1で得られたチタン酸塩15質量部に、フェノール樹脂(住友ベークライト社製、スミライトレジンPR−50064)12質量部、アラミドパルプとフリクションダストの混合物8質量部、硫酸バリウム28質量部、無機充填材26質量部、黒鉛6質量部を配合し、レーディゲミキサーにて混合後、得られた混合物を仮成型(25MPa)、熱成型(150℃,20MPa)を行い、さらに熱処理(160〜210℃)を行い、ディスクブレーキ用パッドを製造した。ディスクブレーキ用パッドとは、JIS D0107の図20−152(番号152−4)に記載されている形状のものであり、ディスクブレーキシステムで使用される摩擦材である。
チタン酸塩を実施例1で得られたものに代えて、実施例2で得られたものを使用する以外は実施例5と同様にして、ディスクブレーキ用パッドを製造した。
チタン酸塩を実施例1で得られたものに代えて、実施例3で得られたものを使用する以外は実施例5と同様にして、ディスクブレーキ用パッドを製造した。
チタン酸塩を実施例1で得られたものに代えて、比較例1で得られたものを使用する以外は実施例5と同様にして、ディスクブレーキ用パッドを製造した。
チタン酸塩を実施例1で得られたものに代えて、比較例2で得られたものを使用する以外は実施例5と同様にして、ディスクブレーキ用パッドを製造した。
摩擦材の気孔率はJIS D4418に基づき測定した。摩擦材の摩耗量は、JASO C427に準拠し、ダイナモメーターにより測定した。摩擦後の摩擦材の外観は、実施例6より得られた摩擦材の摩擦面を基準に○とし、クラックの程度や白化した程度を比較し、状態の良いものから◎、○、×で表記した。結果を表2に示した。
Claims (7)
- TiO6八面体の連鎖により形成される層状構造を有し、Ti席の一部がLi,Mg,Zn,Ni,Cu,Fe,Al,Ga,Mnから選ばれる金属イオンの2種以上で置換され、層間にLiを除くアルカリ金属から選ばれる1種または2種以上の金属イオンを有することを特徴とするレピドクロサイト型チタン酸塩。
- Ti席の10〜40モル%が、Li,Mg,Zn,Ni,Cu,Fe,Al,Ga,Mnから選ばれる金属イオンの2種以上で置換されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のレピドクロサイト型チタン酸塩。
- 前記2種以上の金属イオンが、Liと、Li以外の金属イオンであることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載のレピドクロサイト型チタン酸塩。
- 組成式A0.5〜0.7Li0.27−xMyTi1.73−zO3.85〜3.95[式中、Aは、リチウムを除くアルカリ金属、Mは、Mg,Zn,Ni,Cu,Fe,Al,Ga,Mnから選ばれる1種または2種以上(但し、2種以上の場合は異なる価数のイオンの組み合わせは除く)、xとzは、Mが2価金属のとき、x=2y/3、z=y/3、Mが3価金属のとき、x=y/3、z=2y/3、yは、0.004≦y≦0.4]で表わされることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のレピドクロサイト型チタン酸塩。
- 請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか一項に記載のレピドクロサイト型チタン酸塩と、熱硬化性樹脂を含有していることを特徴とする樹脂組成物。
- 請求項5に記載の樹脂組成物を含有していることを特徴とする摩擦材。
- 請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか一項に記載のレピドクロサイト型チタン酸塩を製造する方法であって、原料混合物を焼成する工程と、前記焼成物を酸洗浄する工程と、前記酸洗浄後に焼成する工程とを備えていることを特徴とするレピドクロサイト型チタン酸塩の製造方法。
