Abstract
Description
The present invention relates to a concentrator used in a solar thermal power generation device or the like.
In solar thermal power generation devices and the like, a condenser that converts light energy of sunlight into thermal energy and transmits it to a heat medium such as water or air is already known. The solar thermal power generation device absorbs thermal energy by making sunlight incident on a light receiving surface of a condenser, and converts the thermal energy into electrical energy through a turbine or a Stirling engine to generate electric power.
In such a solar thermal power generation device, when sunlight incident on the light receiving surface is reflected, light energy of sunlight escapes to the outside of the collector, resulting in energy loss and lowering the energy efficiency of the collector. Therefore, by installing a material / structure with a high light absorption rate on the light-receiving surface of the concentrator, the reflection of sunlight is suppressed and energy loss due to the escape of sunlight's light energy to the outside of the concentrator. Concentrators have been proposed to suppress this.
In Patent Document 1, SiC or carbon having a high light absorption rate is installed on the light receiving surface, and a porous structure is formed of the material, thereby reducing the reflectance of sunlight and improving the absorption rate. A concentrator is disclosed. FIG. 11 shows a schematic diagram of the
Here, as shown in FIG. 11, the porous structure generally means a structure having deep holes that are not straight but meandering. When a deep
Sb1 in FIG. 11 indicates sunlight that has entered the deep layer portion of the
Patent Document 2 discloses a solar concentrator in which a heat absorber includes a plurality of carbon nanotubes, and the plurality of carbon nanotubes are coupled to each other by intermolecular force to form a carbon nanotube structure. According to the present invention, since carbon nanotubes having a very high light absorption rate are used in the solar collector, the light absorption rate of the solar collector is very high. Therefore, the energy efficiency of the collector is also high.
However, in the collector described in Patent Document 1, although SiC or carbon having high thermal conductivity is installed on the light receiving surface, the light absorptance is lower than when carbon nanotubes are installed on the light receiving surface. Low. Further, as shown in FIG. 11, since the pores of the
In the solar concentrator described in Patent Document 2, a plurality of carbon nanotubes are installed on the light receiving surface. For example, a large number of mirrors and lenses are used to condense sunlight into the concentrator to generate power. In the case of a solar thermal power generation apparatus that performs the above, that is, a tower type solar thermal power generation apparatus, the temperature of the condenser rises to around 1000 ° C. Carbon nanotubes are burned out when the temperature exceeds 400 ° C. When the carbon nanotubes are burnt down, the solar light absorption rate decreases, and the energy efficiency of the collector decreases.
Then, an object of this invention is to provide the collector which can improve energy efficiency and can maintain the energy efficiency over a long period of time.
In order to achieve the above object, the light collector of the present invention comprises carbon nanotubes arranged on a light receiving surface at regular intervals and arranged perpendicularly to the light receiving surface, and the carbon nanotubes have oxidation resistance. It is covered with the coating film which has.
According to the collector of the present invention, the light absorption rate can be improved by installing the carbon nanotubes on the light receiving surface. Also, since the carbon nanotubes are arranged at regular intervals and perpendicular to the light receiving surface, the light incident on the side wall of the carbon nanotube is reflected on the side wall of the adjacent carbon nanotube even if it is reflected on the side wall. It is possible to suppress energy loss caused by incident light being absorbed and escaping sunlight to the outside of the light collector, and thus energy efficiency of the light collector can be improved.
Further, since the carbon nanotubes are covered with an oxidation-resistant coating film, they are shielded from the atmosphere, and even if the temperature of the condenser becomes high, the oxidation / oxidation of the carbon nanotubes arranged on the light receiving surface is performed. Since burnout can be prevented, the energy efficiency of the collector can be maintained over a long period of time without reducing the light absorption rate.
As shown in FIG. 1A, the
Further, the
The interval between the
In addition to SiC, the coating film may be a single element of Ti, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Mo, W, Al, or Mg, an alloy thereof, an oxide or a nitride thereof.
Further, as shown in FIG. 1B, the coated
Further,
In FIG. 1C, an embodiment in which the
Next, the manufacturing method of the concentrator which concerns on this Embodiment is demonstrated.
First, the
First, direct growth will be described. There are two possible methods for obtaining the
Next, the transfer method will be described. When transferring the
After the
Regarding the heating method, the heating time is preferably 10 minutes to 12 hours, and the heating temperature is preferably about 1100 ° C to 1400 ° C. By controlling the heating time, the film thickness of the coating film can be controlled.
Explaining in detail, when the coating film is at a low heating temperature, the outermost surface is composed of an amorphous non-carbide and the underlying layer is a crystalline carbide layer (some of which may be non-crystalline). When the temperature is high, it consists of crystalline non-carbide and crystalline carbide (the outer layer of the coating film is non-carbide and the inner layer is carbide), and when the heating temperature is high, it consists of crystalline carbide. Specifically, when the substrate material and the powdery coating material are Si, the coating film is amorphous Si and its lower layer is crystalline SiC (some It is made of a crystalline mixed material (the outer layer of the coating film is Si and the inner layer is SiC) at a heating temperature of 1200 ° C., and is made of crystalline SiC at a heating temperature of 1300 ° C. The SiC in the inner layer in the coating film formed at a heating temperature of 1200 ° C. is a reaction between the Si in the outer layer and the carbon nanotube.
In the present embodiment, since
Furthermore, the method for manufacturing the
According to the
That is, it is better to install the
Furthermore, according to the
For example, in the case of a solar thermal power generation apparatus that uses a large number of mirrors and lenses to collect sunlight on a light collector to generate power, that is, a tower type solar power generation apparatus, the temperature of the light collector is close to 1000 ° C. To rise. Since carbon nanotubes are said to oxidize when they exceed 400 ° C, if the carbon nanotubes are not coated, if the temperature of the condenser exceeds 400 ° C, the carbon nanotubes provided on the light receiving surface will oxidize and burn out. Resulting in. When the carbon nanotubes are burnt down, the solar light absorption rate decreases, and the energy efficiency of the collector decreases.
In this regard, according to the
Further, in a carbon nanotube without a coating film, since the carbon nanotube has flexibility, it may be bent by an external force such as wind in an actual use environment, and the orientation structure may be deformed. When the orientation structure is deformed, sunlight reflected by the side wall of the coated
In this respect, in the
Furthermore, the energy efficiency of the
When a substance (here, carbon nanotube) absorbs thermal energy, the thermal energy is released to the outside as an electromagnetic wave by thermal radiation. The wavelength of electromagnetic waves generated by thermal radiation depends on the temperature of the substance. For example, when the temperature of the substance is 1000 K, the wavelength of the electromagnetic wave is 3000 nm, and when the temperature of the substance is 1600 K, the wavelength of the electromagnetic wave is about 2000 nm.
However, by setting the interval between the carbon nanotubes 20 (strictly, between the coated carbon nanotubes 22) to be equal to or less than the wavelength of heat radiation from the
Here, in the present invention, the electromagnetic wave having a frequency equal to or greater than the interval between the
For example, assuming that the temperature of the
For the above reasons, the distance between the
Moreover, when the outer layer of the
Moreover, when the
As shown in FIG. 3, when the
Here, the surface plasmon resonance refers to a phenomenon in which the energy of electromagnetic waves is converted into thermal energy when the metal nanoparticles selectively absorb electromagnetic waves having a specific wavelength and the metal nanoparticles vibrate. Note that the wavelength of the electromagnetic wave E to be absorbed depends on the material and size of the
Moreover, in the
When metal nanoparticles are directly supported on carbon nanotubes, their adhesion (suppresses the behavior and desorption of the supported catalyst) is poor.
In this respect, in the
Hereinafter, specific modes of each component will be described.
The height of the
Further, the interval between the
In addition, the thickness of the carbon nanotube increases as the thickness of the carbon nanotube increases. However, if the carbon nanotube is too thick, sunlight may be reflected from the upper surface of the carbon nanotube, which may reduce the energy efficiency of the collector. There is. When the interval between the
The film thickness of the
The material of the
As a form of the concentrator, as shown in FIGS. 4 to 9, for example, a
Here, it is preferable that the
In the
The corrugated
The
A honeycomb-
The
The dome-shaped
As shown in FIGS. 9B and 9C, most of the sunlight S incident on the inside of the dome-shaped
Then, the heat medium enters from the hole of the upper
In the present embodiment, the case where the
Further, as shown in FIG. 10A, a bundle of a plurality of carbon nanotubes may be used as the
When the
By dropping the liquid W onto the plurality of
