Abstract
Description
本実施形態の入力装置10は、例えば、図1に示すように、車両1に搭載されたカーナビゲーション装置4のリモコンとして使用され、ドライバがステアリングハンドル2を握った状態で親指により操作可能なスポーク部3に配置される。
以下、図3〜図6を参照しながら、図1,図2に示す本実施形態の入力装置10の動作について詳細に説明する。
以上説明のように本実施形態の入力装置10によれば、押圧スイッチ11の上にタッチセンサ12を実装することで、押圧スイッチ11とタッチセンサ12のジェスチャのそれぞれに割り当てられた機能を実行することができ、アプリケーションに応じた使い勝手の良い入力装置10を提供することができる。また、押圧スイッチ11は、例えば、エンターキー、上下左右の4方向キーに相当する複数のスイッチからなり、これら複数のスイッチの上にタッチセンサ12が実装されるため、例えば、先に上方向キーに相当するスイッチが押下され、次に下方向キーに相当するスイッチが押下された場合に誤ってスワイプと認識されることを回避することができる。
なお、本実施形態の入力装置10は、制御部15が1チップマイコンで構成され、入力装置10に内蔵され、カーナビゲーション装置4の主制御部20とはプロセッサ間通信で有線で入力情報を転送するものとして説明したが、有線ではなく無線により入力情報を転送しても良い。この場合、カーナビゲーション装置4との接続のためのハーネスを不要にするためコンパクトな実装が可能になる。また、入力装置10が持つ制御部15の機能を、例えば、カーナビゲーション装置4の主制御部20で代替してもよく、この場合、入力装置10を安価に製造することができる。
Claims (8)
- 押圧スイッチの上にタッチセンサが実装された入力装置であって、
前記押圧スイッチに対する第1の所定の操作を検出する第1の検出部と、
前記タッチセンサに対する第2の所定の操作を検出する第2の検出部と、
前記第1の検出部による前記第1の所定の操作、および前記第2の検出部による前記第2の所定の操作を認識する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記第1の検出部で前記第1の所定の操作を検知してから所定の時間内に前記第2の検出部で前記第2の所定の操作を検出すると前記第2の所定の操作を認識しないことを特徴とする入力装置。 - 前記押圧スイッチを複数有し、前記複数の押圧スイッチの上に前記タッチセンサが実装されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の入力装置。
- 前記第2の所定の操作が無効になっていることを報知する報知部、
を更に備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の入力装置。 - 前記制御部は、
前記第1の検出部で前記第1の所定の操作を検知する前の第2の所定の時間内に、前記第2の検出部で第3の所定の操作を検出すると、前記第2の所定の操作を有効にすることを特徴とする請求項1記載の入力装置。 - 前記第2の所定の操作はスワイプであり、
前記制御部は、
前記検出部のタッチ面が上下左右に4分割された下部領域から上部領域に向かう第1の方向のスワイプ、前記上部領域から前記下部領域に向かう第2の方向のスワイプ、左部領域から右部領域に向かう第3の方向のスワイプ、前記右部領域から前記左部領域に向かう第4の方向のスワイプのいずれかを認識することを特徴とする請求項1記載の入力装置。 - 前記第1の検出部と前記第2の検出部は、
ドライバがステアリングハンドルを握った状態でドライバの親指で操作可能なスポーク部に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の入力装置。 - 前記報知部は、
前記タッチ面の内部に前記上部領域、下部領域、左部領域、右部領域の各部位に実装される光源を有し、前記第2の所定の操作が無効になっている間、前記第1の所定の操作が行われた部位を除く部位に対応する前記光源による照明を消灯することを特徴とする請求項3または5記載の入力装置。 - 前記報知部は、
前記タッチ面の内部に実装される光源を有し、前記第2の所定の操作が無効になっている間、前記光源による照明の色を変更することを特徴とする請求項3または5記載の入力装置。
