Abstract
Description
Claims (20)
- 狭窄入口部分を有するアパーチャを有するインプラントに対して身体組織を固定するための締結具であって、
前記アパーチャを通るよう構成され且つ身体組織に取り付けられるよう構成されたアンカー部分と、
アンカー延長部分および前記アンカー延長部分に係合可能な挿入体を備えるヘッド部分であって、
前記アンカー延長部分および前記挿入体のうちの少なくとも一方の上に配置され且つ前記狭窄入口部分の寸法よりも大きい第1寸法を形成する、複数の弾性タブであって、湾曲されると前記第1寸法に対する第2縮小寸法を形成することが可能であり、前記第2寸法が形成されると前記ヘッド部分は前記狭窄入口部分を越えて前記アパーチャへと通ることが可能となる、複数の弾性タブと、
前記複数の弾性タブに接触し、それにより前記ヘッド部分が前記狭窄入口部分を越えて前記アパーチャへと通された後は前記複数の弾性タブが湾曲することによる前記第2縮小寸法の形成は妨げられ、それにより前記ヘッド部分が前記アパーチャから出て後退することは妨げられるよう構成された、少なくとも1つの傾斜部と
を備えるヘッドと、
を備える締結具。 - 前記挿入体および前記アンカー延長部分は相互に係合するよう構成された、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記相互係合は、前記アンカー延長部分または前記挿入体のうちの一方の上の第1フランジと、前記アンカー延長部分または前記挿入体のうちの他方の上の第2湾曲可能なフランジとを含み、前記第2フランジは湾曲されると前記第1フランジの上方または下方を通り、その後に非湾曲構成を回復し、それにより前記第1フランジと前記第2フランジとの間の係合が形成されるよう動作する、請求項2に記載の締結具。
- 前記挿入体および前記アンカー延長部分は前記ヘッド部分が前記アパーチャへと通される前に相互に係合される、請求項2に記載の締結具。
- 前記アンカー延長部分および前記挿入体は相互に組み立てられると湾曲外側表面を形成し、前記湾曲外側表面は前記アパーチャの内側の湾曲表面と枢動可能に係合する、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記タブは、連続するタブ同士の間に配置された起伏により形成され、前記起伏はヒンジ部分を形成し、前記ヒンジ部分から前記複数のタブは延長する、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記傾斜部は前記複数の弾性タブを湾曲させ、それにより前記第1寸法と少なくとも同じ大きさである第3寸法を形成するよう構成された、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記アンカー延長部分または前記挿入体は、前記締結具を身体組織へと駆動するための工具により係合されるよう機能する工具係合プロファイルを備える、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記係合プロファイルは3つの主要面を形成する、請求項8に記載の締結具。
- 前記複数の弾性タブを湾曲させそれにより前記第1寸法と少なくとも同じ大きさの寸法を形成するよう機能する螺着を前記挿入体と前記アンカー延長部分との間にさらに含む、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記アンカー延長部分は傾斜部を備え、前記挿入体は傾斜部を備え、前記アンカー延長部分傾斜部および前記挿入体傾斜部は、前記アンカー部分が前記アパーチャを通って戻る方向に動くと相互に係合し、その結果として前記ヘッド部分の寸法を協働して増大化させる、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記協働的な係合により前記挿入体は直径において拡大される、請求項11に記載の締結具。
- 前記複数の弾性タブは前記挿入体上に配置され、前記挿入体は、第1挿入力を用いると第1方向に前記狭窄入口部分を通過して前記アパーチャへと通されることが可能であり、前記第1力よりも実質的に大きい第2力を用いると第2方向に前記狭窄入口部分から出るよう通されることが可能であり、前記挿入体が前記アンカー延長部分に係合すると、前記アンカー延長部分は、前記第2力と少なくとも同じ大きさの力を印加することのみにより、前記第2方向に前記アパーチャから出るよう通ることが可能となる、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記少なくとも1つの傾斜部は前記複数の弾性タブのそれぞれに対して開放状態で配置され、前記少なくとも1つの傾斜部は、前記締結具が前記アパーチャへと通されそれにより前記弾性タブを湾曲させると、前記狭窄入口部分に係合するよう機能する、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 前記挿入体は前記弾性タブを含む拡張可能なリングである、請求項1に記載の締結具。
- 身体組織を固定するためのシステムであって、
狭窄入口部分を有するアパーチャを有するインプラントと、
締結具であって、
前記アパーチャを通るよう構成され且つ身体組織に取り付けられるよう構成されたアンカー部分と、
アンカー延長部分および前記アンカー延長部分に係合可能な挿入体を備えるヘッド部分であって、
前記アンカー延長部分および/または前記挿入体の上に配置され且つ前記狭窄入口部分の寸法よりも大きい第1寸法を形成する、複数の弾性タブであって、湾曲されると前記第1寸法に対する第2縮小寸法を形成することが可能であり、前記第2寸法が形成されると前記ヘッド部分は前記狭窄入口部分を越えて前記アパーチャへと通ることが可能となる、複数の弾性タブと、
前記複数の弾性タブに接触し、それにより前記ヘッド部分が前記狭窄入口部分を越えて前記アパーチャへと通された後は前記複数の弾性タブが湾曲することによる前記第2縮小寸法の形成は妨げられ、それにより前記ヘッド部分が前記アパーチャから出て後退することは妨げられるよう構成された、少なくとも1つの傾斜部と、
を有するヘッドと
を有する締結具と
を備えるシステム。 - 前記少なくとも1つの傾斜部は前記挿入体上に形成され、前記アパーチャは、前記挿入体上に形成された前記少なくとも1つの傾斜部と協働して前記インプラントと前記締結具との間に緊密的に一致する枢動可能な接続を形成する、傾斜内側表面を備える、請求項16に記載のシステム。
- 前記インプラントは脊椎プレートを形成し、前記締結具は骨ねじを形成する、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 狭窄入口部分を有するアパーチャを有するインプラントに対して身体組織を固定するための方法であって、
締結具のアンカー部分を前記アパーチャに通すことと、
前記アンカー部分を身体組織に取り付けることと、
挿入体を前記アンカー部分に係合させ、それにより複数の弾性タブを有し且つ前記狭窄入口部分の寸法よりも大きい第1寸法を形成するヘッド部を形成することと、
前記複数の弾性タブを湾曲させそれにより前記第1寸法に対して第2縮小寸法を形成し、前記狭窄入口部分を越えて前記アパーチャへと前記ヘッド部分を通すことと、
前記弾性タブを解放して前記第1寸法と少なくとも同じ大きさである寸法を形成し、前記締結具が前記アパーチャ内に固定されることと
を含む方法。 - 前記締結具の傾斜部を前記狭窄入口部分に沿って摺動させ、それにより前記複数の弾性タブを湾曲させることをさらに含む、請求項19に記載の方法。
