Claims (8)
- ケーシングチューブ(3)内に配置されて排ガスが流通することのできる第1のハニカム体(4)を有する排気系統(2)において排ガスを処理するための装置(1)であって、前記ハニカム体(4)は、24V(ボルト)よりも高い、特に48Vよりも高い電圧(8)のための動作条件でさえ絶縁をもたらす隙間(6)および/または絶縁体(7)によって境界づけられる少なくとも1つの電流−伝導構造(5)を有する、装置(1)。
- コントロールユニット(9)を備え、前記コントロールユニット(9)は、特に少なくとも24Vの、好ましくは48Vと60Vとの間のパルス電圧(8)を生成して、前記電圧を前記電流−伝導構造(5)に適用するように構成される、請求項1に記載の装置(1)。
- 前記電流−伝導構造(5)は、0.001Ω(オーム)と10Ωとの間の、好ましくは0.03Ωと0.8Ωとの間の、全く特に好ましくは0.05Ωと0.3Ωとの間の電気抵抗を有する、請求項1または2に記載の装置(1)。
- 排ガスが流通することができて、少なくとも1つの電流−伝導構造(5)を有する電気的に加熱可能なハニカム体(4)を作動する方法であって、前記電流−伝導構造(5)には、前記ハニカム体(4)を加熱するために、24Vよりも高くて電流を発生する電圧(8)が適用され、前記電圧(8)は、パルス電圧であることを特徴とする、方法。
- 前記パルス電圧は、0.1Hz(ヘルツ)〜1000Hzの、好ましくは1Hz〜100Hzの繰返し数を用いて適用される、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 各パルス(10)は、0.005s(秒)〜0.5sのパルス幅(11)を有する、請求項4または5に記載の方法。
- 前記パルス電圧(8)は、48Vと60Vとの間の最大電圧レベル(12)を有する、請求項4〜6のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
- 前記パルス幅および/または前記繰返し数は、排ガスのパラメータ、特に排ガスの温度、の関数として調整される、請求項5〜7のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
